The staff cannot be complimented enough. Always professional, friendly, quick to respond and beyond helpful. I was always made to feel as if I was the only bride you had to worry about! Just a quick note to say THANK YOU for all your hard work on Saturday and in the lead up. We had such a magnificent time and it was well beyond our expectations! Everything went so smoothly and looked stunning. We were exceptionally pleased with the venue, staff and support we received - particularly Caroline who was so helpful in the lead up and on the day. We had the most wonderful day. The venue, the staff, the weather, the food was all perfect. From start to finish everything was so perfect and we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Our guests from Northern Ireland couldn't believe how stunning the venue and Baron's Hall was and have never seen anything like it. Many said it was the best wedding they had ever been toWe had the most wonderful day. The venue, the staff, the weather, the food was all perfect. We just wanted to say thank you for everything on Friday, we had the most spectacular day and Penshurst Place wowed everyone, as we knew it would. Thank you to you and all your colleagues for making it so amazing. Everyone agreed that the weather failed to put a dampener on it, in fact with the grey skies and the fire lit in the Baron’s Hall it was actually so much more atmospheric! We’re so happy we chose Penshurst Place for our wedding We just wanted to say thank you for everything on Friday, we had the most spectacular day and Penshurst Place wowed everyone, as we knew it would. Thank you to you and all your colleagues for making it so amazing. Unique, characterful, flexible, historic and picture-perfect

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Too many to choose from! For large expansive shots, the Italian Garden with the house in the background is a must. Elsewhere Coronation Walk which is lined with beautiful old apple trees is a stunning spot for more rustic images.

What’s your favourite canapé?

A British classic - the little Roast beef Yorkshire puddings are divine!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Bacon rolls; they are always well-received after an hour or two on the dance floor

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The medieval Baron's Hall. It was completed in 1341 and features an original 60 feet high chestnut-beamed roof.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our team. Outside of the immediate weddings team is a small collection of helpers from other departments who are just as passionate about weddings here as we are. Many of us married here ourselves and they all help out with getting the rooms ready for our couples if we need them.
