Plush Tents is a yurt village nestled in a beautiful woodland copse designed for pure escapism. Whether you want to enjoy the multitude of social spaces or have a little bit of privacy in your own hammock, from the point that your friends and family park their cars and walk through our welcome arch they will be drawn into the tranquil, calm atmosphere. We welcome guests of all ages and love to hear the laughter of children running free down the paths, splashing in the hot tub or playing in our natural play area. For newcomers to glamping, we have just the right level of luxury such as Egyptian cotton bedding, hot showers and comfy sofas by the stove to keep everyone happy and contented.

It was the most AMAZING & MAGICAL weekend of our lives! From start to finish (18 months in the planning!) Louise & crew were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, from the "mini meltdowns" we had in the early days up until the entire weekend of hauling and arranging everything. The guys were always on hand to sort out any minor hitches and were very accommodating of our need for early and continued caffeine! The site itself and the yurts are just perfect, all of our family & friends want us to do it again!!! We could go on forever but will just say "Plush Tents - We Love You"!We hired the site exclusively for our wedding, what can we say? It was the most AMAZING & MAGICAL weekend of our lives! The staff were amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed, the hot tub was hot, campfires were burning and that our guests had plenty of fresh coffee in the mornings. The yurts are cosy and comfortable, the log burners really make a difference on a cool evening. The site was magical and really made our wedding special. Thanks to everyone at Plush for making Slothfest such a success. ☺️We held our wedding weekend here at Plush and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff were amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed, the hot tub was hot, campfires were burning and that our guests had plenty of fresh coffee in the mornings. The location is great and is brilliantly laid out, despite not being a seasoned camper, the yurts are equipped with really comfortable beds, nice linen and towels, a USB charger and log burning stove which the more than helpful staff light before you head to bed. The crew serve teas and coffees in the morning and are always in the background ready to help out. I can not recommend this place enough for group bookings or just a quiet weekend getaway. Bathrooms were well designed, clean and maintained throughout and not too far away! It was the most amazing beautiful ,fun full laughter and love kinda weekend . All my guest that attended our still talking about it wish they was back there as do we wish we was doing it all again . The staff our incredible, venue is just beautiful and the weather didn't stop us enjoying our self one bit ! I highly recommend to any one wanting a different wedding vibe more chilled and relaxed. I really want to relive my wedding weekend all over again . Thank you plush tents for making this happen .We had our wedding held here in October and well what can I say ! It was the most amazing beautiful ,fun full laughter and love kinda weekend . All my guest that attended our still talking about it wish they was back there as do we wish we was doing it all again . The site is peaceful and tranquil and the facilities are superb. Everyone could relax and enjoy themselves and the staff were always available in the background fo help if required. We never saw any of the children all weekend because they were running around in the trees making friends with each other and playing like kids used to do. The yurts were luxurious with everything you would need for a weekend camping, all you needed to bring was your clothes and a toothbrush. I urge you to go there and try it for yourself. Our host Makka made us very welcome , we were delighted by the grounds ... We were there in spring and the yurts had daffodils and bluebells sprouting all about them .... Oh let me get to the yurts ... What a surprise , gorgeous interiors , wood burners , clean linen , comfortable with all mod cons , sub chargers , a little sound system to listen to music ... Beautifully furnished too , wooden beds and trunks ... Fresh flowers .... The grounds are lovely ... Hot tubs , a beautiful wooden bandstand , chunks of beautiful w old fashioned into tables ... A fire pit .... The wedding party was held in an amazing stretchy marquee , all decorated and lit up .... My husband and I retired early , much to our delight there was a live feed from the party area to our yurt ... So we missed nothing ! I really recommend this place - if you're planning a wedding , a birthday bash or just fancy some glamping - this place really ticked all the boxes - we will be back :)Plush tents was the setting for a lovely wedding we were invited to .... We got married at Plush Tents this weekend, it was amazing, the site was awesome, everything we wanted it to be and more. The staff were so accommodating, nothing seemed any bother to them. Our friends and family were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of Plush tents along with the amazing luxury that’s comes from glamming in yurts. At no point have we had anything to worry about, the children were entertained in their play area, the teepee, hammocks, stargazing chairs and just generally enjoying playing freely outside. The yurts are cosy and luxurious inside and the log burner is welcome on those chilly evenings! We had such a magical weekend and we're so sad to leave the little village of family and friends that we created. Plan for every weather scenario, then whatever mother nature has instore for your celebrations you are prepared and can look forward to putting those plans in action.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Haha, we love it when guests consider sustainable ways of celebrating. Upcycling and reusing materials can be a great way of saving on costs and can be incorporated in so many ways. We've seen old pallets used as a great way of presenting your order of the day, recycled fabrics for draping and decor.

What is your venue's most unique feature?
The setting, were in a beautiful woodland copse. The smell of wood burners and the sound of nature add to the wonderful surroundings. So we alleal to all the senses.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Staying true to our beliefs that we built this as a place to share the love of the outdoors with people. It was never to be a business and we hope that people can feel that when they stay with us.
