Join us for our Open Day Sunday 5th January 2020 From 11am – 3pm A beautiful wedding venue situated on the Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire border. A private family home, always offered on an exclusive use, and it’s your country house home for the weekend. The house and grounds overlook unspoilt countryside that provides a truly stunning backdrop, ideal for wedding photography, for your wedding day. There are three large Reception Rooms for your use. Poundon House can also offer Outdoor Ceremonies, a beautiful way to be married by a Civil Ceremony or Blessings. For Civil Ceremonies we go up to 200 and for a Blessing on the lawns up to 300. The grounds make an ideal area to host your reception drinks before your guests proceed to our stunning unique marquee that has Indian hand block printed lining, and seats up to 350 guests. We are familiar with hosting Fusion and Asian weddings, Nikah’s, Walima’s, Mandaps Blessings and Mendhi parties so you can host multiple events at one venue. Stay in our 10 bedrooms to make yourself truly at home. Make a weekend from your wedding and cherish these moments in life when family and friends get together. We loved Poundon House the moment we saw it. The marquee’s amazing ceiling was the biggest selling point. That and the really personal, helpful service from the owners. Being a family run business, you could tell they cared, and made every effort to accommodate all of our ridiculous requests. We were having a big fat Asian wedding, which Poundon House have achieved before and so knew exactly what to expect and almost preempted our questions. Highly recommend it!
