Here at Salomons Estate we carefully select our fresh produce ensuring we provide you with the highest quality of food and drink.
For the added convenience of your guests, there is plenty of free parking with on-site accommodation available at special rates for the bridal party and wedding guests.
At Salomons Estate we have an onsite bridal cottage situated just 2 minutes walk from the main mansion house and recently refurbished, the 17th century Estate Keepers cottage has been designed with you and your guests in mind, from the roll top bath in the bridal bathroom to the romantic private courtyard. The Cottage sleeps a maximum of 8 and gives you the perfect space to retreat to before and after your special day.
Whether you require a winter wedding, a bespoke wedding or even a last minute wedding, Salomons Estate has a wedding package that is perfect to meet your every need.

The building is interesting with all the extra hideaway rooms/doors for staff to get around without interrupting any services. The Welte Organ was magnificent and the room where the wedding was held looked very nice. The location is utterly beautiful, the grounds in keeping with nature and the house grand with intriguing and fine decor. What made the day so perfect though, was the impeccable service. Smiling, polite, moving seamlessly and unobtrusively amongst people and tables to see to guests every need. Observant, so that empty glasses, water and wine bottles were removed and replaced. Every request regarding dietary needs was prepared and catered for. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Kate and James Annakin’s wedding, 15th June. They surprised their guests with the band The Correspondents, who they had seen with their friends at Glastonbury. It was an amazing surprise for everyone and no one left the dance floor for the rest of the night.

Leave plenty of time and don’t leave things to the last minute. Get everything organised as soon as you can so you can enjoy the planning process and enjoy becoming an engaged to married couple!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The museum, as the ceiling is an amazing feature. People forget to go in here when the weather is great as our grounds are beautiful and the perfect backdrop. The hut by the lake – looks lovely lit up at dawn/night.

Crispy calamari pork crunch

The fajita bar – I love that you are able to make up your own!
