Sandburn Hall is a stunning venue, set amongst lakes and woodland, just Northeast of the historic town of York. With expansive views across the golf course and lakes, and pretty gardens for those perfect photographs, Sandburn Hall is the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding day. The beautiful oak-framed Grand Function Hall, with exclusive use, holds up to 150 guests. Our experienced Wedding Co-ordinators will work with you to create all the special touches that will make you wedding day unique. *Please note we can no longer take any bookings for 2021. This was our second wedding that we photographed at Sandburn Hall in 2019 - we always love coming back. It's such a wonderful wedding venue and whenever we get booked to go back to work there, we are so pleased! The team are so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure the couple has the very best day ever. Sandburn Hall is also so beautiful inside and out and is perfect for photos - we love it! If you book Sandburn you will not only have a fantastic day but also give your photographer the opportunity to capture beautiful moments in superb surroundings. The team are always so welcoming and friendly to all suppliers as well. Such a beautiful Yorkshire wedding venue!Such a beautiful Yorkshire wedding venue!
The first of two weddings we photographed at Sandburn Hall this year was Claire and Cai's beautiful April wedding. What a day it was! And it was made all the more special because of the lovely staff at Sandburn Hall. Sandburn really is a beautiful venue - if it rains, there is no need to worry as a couple as Sandburn's ceremony room is bright, it gives a lovely atmosphere and is perfect for photographs. Not that Claire and Cai needed to worry about the weather - we got a beautiful sunset and Sandburn Hall being just as lovely outside as inside, it gave the perfect setting for us to photograph it. The venue has a beautiful natural lit barn feel with huge wooden beams over head, set on the most beautiful surroundings - green fields and woodland all around. The staff were amazing, through from all the months of planning to the actual day, ensuring they attended to my every little need. Sandburn Hall is a beautiful venue with lots of character, the lodges at griffon forest nearby are the perfect accommodation too. Many of my guests spent an amazing weekend at the lodges and used the facilities at Sandburn throughout the weekend. The staff at sandburn are fantastic and incredibly helpful. There was a small issue with the bar on the night, as the tills broke so they closed the bar for around 30-45 minutes which was disappointing but was resolved as quickly as possible, although it did create some stress for me and my husband on our wedding day. The food was incredible and the rest of the day ran smoothly. We had an amazing day and would definitely recommend the venue to a friend. We loved every minute of our wedding day and it ran so smoothly thanks to all your hard work. All staff were polite and helpful and we felt that they couldn’t do enough for us. Our venue stylist commented that it was one of the most organised venues she has ever worked with! Honestly we don’t think you could have done anything better, we can’t thank you enough for the most perfect day! All of our guests were commenting on how amazing it was! We loved every minute of our wedding day and it ran so smoothly thanks to all your hard work. All staff were polite and helpful and we felt that they couldn’t do enough for us. Our venue stylist commented that it was one of the most organised venues she has ever worked with! From the day we booked our wedding at Sandburn Hall to day we got married, the team there have been amazing! Throughout our wedding planning we had three different coordinators but each one was great and always replied any questions or emails I sent promptly. Beth Pryal was our coordinator on the day and she went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for us. The bar staff was great throughout the whole day, the service was fast and friendly and we never saw a queue! Unfortunately we did not have any of the evening food as we were too busy in the dance floor! However all our guests commented on how nice it was! Sandburn Hall did everything they could possible do and more to make our day perfect! They went the extra mile to smooth out the flower hiccups we had! We cannot thank them enough for all the extra work they put in for us. Just one more final thank you to Bethany Pryal and the whole team at Sandburn Hall that made our day so incredible! Laura was so organised and every single detail that we had planned was done to perfection! Everyone was so friendly on the day- we felt really at home All guests were so happy with the food and drink in the evening. We were so grateful that the bar could offer our signature cocktail for evening guests, too! Nothing could have been done differently! Everything far surpassed our expectations, from the planning to the actual day & even having Richard accompany us on our photo shoot to hold our smoke grenades! The overall feel at Sandburn Hall is that every single person is happy to help and will do anything to make sure your day is as magical as you hoped it would be. We will be forever grateful to have shared our day with some amazing people One final 'thank you' to everyone who helped make our day so great.
