Sandon Hall is one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the Midlands. The country mansion’s magnificent interior and picturesque gardens make it the perfect location for a wedding, civil partnership ceremony or reception.
Our choice of elegant rooms are ideal for indoor weddings, seating up to 120 people, free of any distractions or other parties. Our Temple Garden is a quiet and intimate setting for Outdoor Ceremonies with far reaching views of the Staffordshire Countryside.
We have our very own church nestled within the estate. The Grade I listed, 13th Century All Saints Church is a picture-perfect English rural church, with a meandering driveway through 400 acres of parkland leading the wedding party to the hall to continue the celebration.
The Hall itself is set amid 50 acres of formal gardens, designed by the esteemed landscape architect William Eames. Spring and summer weddings in particular see guests spill out onto the elegant terrace and sweeping lawns, where younger guests can run freely.
From 2021, we will have on-site accommodation with our newly renovated, light and spacious lodge nestled within the Estate, which will be available to book alongside your wedding. In addition to period charms, the house provides modern comforts and a relaxing experience for the wedding couple, their families or guests. The property is equipped with 4 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and private parking and garden.

They really go above and beyond and make wedding planning really easy. Any communication between ourselves and the team was really efficient and they dealt with enquiries quickly and effectively. The girls were really accommodating and friendly throughout and it was a pleasure to work with them! The venue itself is incredible - steeped in history with gorgeous grounds. We had a summer wedding which was fab, but would also suit colder weather. The venue looks amazing in pictures and would suit either a big wedding with lots of guests like ours, or a more intimate affair. All of our guests had the most incredible day, and a lot of that was due to the smooth running of the day, thanks to Laura and Kerry! They also work with incredible suppliers so can recommend them if you need advice. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue/team and we had the most wonderful day. Kerry and Laura were both fantastic. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did before and on our wedding day for us. It may sound cliche, but it genuinely was the best day of our lives and a lot of that is thanks to them. We held a Tipi wedding in our gardens. The tables were decorated with wild flowers and they had lovely rugs on the floor. Over 200 people enjoyed the event.

The decor has not been changed, you can still see the original paintings on the wall and the hand painted silk wall paper, you are entering into the much loved home of Lord and Lady Harrowby.

The personal touch, we know each and everyone of our brides and their grooms, we can work with them on all aspects of their day to make sure they have the occasion they want.
