Set within 6 acres of stunning private gardens, Stifford Hall Hotel is a charming and elegant 18th century Georgian Manor House providing a unique countryside retreat and an idyllic wedding venue. Our stunning gardens and historic house are a photographer’s dream, offering many wonderful locations and photo opportunities for those treasured wedding photographs. Unlike other venues we host ONLY ONE WEDDING PER DAY meaning our focus is totally on YOU and your special day, ensuring that you and your guests have a wonderful and memorable experience that you will treasure forever. Within the restored Manor House we have three banqueting suites to choose from to match your personal taste or wedding theme: The Regency Suite is our largest room and can accommodate up to 130 guests for a formal sit-down meal and up to 180 for the evening celebrations. The room is newly refurbished in a classic yet modern Regency style with huge floor to ceiling windows offering a spectacular view across our delightful gardens. The Blenheim Suite on the first floor, boasts the charm and character of the quintessentially English manor house and has the capacity for up to 70 day guests and 120 for an evening reception. The Garden Suite is an elegant room that boasts its own private patio and garden area. This modern room can seat up to 80 for the day and 150 for the evening and is also the perfect location for a relaxing drinks reception. For a small more intimate affair, The Terrace is the ideal setting for ceremonies of up to 50 people or a small wedding breakfast of 30. This room is bathed in natural light from the large Georgian windows and the glass-roofed terrace, and has idyllic views across the landscaped gardens. Throughout the planning process your experienced wedding Coordinator will be happy to help with planning your special day down to the finest detail, to ensure that everything runs smoothly and you can simply relax and enjoy your dream wedding day.

Exceptional staffExceptional staff
I can honestly say it was the most perfect day and I was so happy we booked our reception with you. The room looked absolutely stunning and far better than anything I was expecting. From start to finish everything went smoothly and I believe this was down to the exceptional staff. The food was really nice as well (not that I had a chance to eat much of it) but all the guests commented on how nice the food was. Definitely 5* so please pass our thanks to the kitchen staff. I would also like it if you could pass our thanks on to all the staff involved on the day and particularly to Lily, as she did so well helping to set up the room with all my bits. Nothing was too much for any of them and they all worked extremely hard. Again thank you all so much for making our wedding day an amazing one and a day to remember. I can honestly say there was not one thing I didn’t like or went wrong. I’m really sad it’s all over with now and starting to feel like I want to do it again. This hotel went above and beyond for my wedding that took place on 24/03/18. Jamie, Amanda and their team were amazing throughout the whole planning process. The day ran so smoothly and everything was taken care off, I didn’t have to worry as they were always there if I needed them. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this hotel the rooms were clean and lovely the breakfast was really good both mornings, the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was amazing all my guests commented how much they enjoyed it, the staff are really friendly and helpful nothing was ever to much trouble, on the night of the wedding the staff had cleaned up my room and decorated our bed with rose petals and other bits and pieces and left me a wedding card in my postbox from the whole team which I thought was a really lovely gesture! I am generally sad that my wedding is over because I don’t have a excuse to keep coming back! Although I did book 2 afternoon tea’s there for our grandparents to come back at a later date! The wedding was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank you guys enough for making it so perfect. We got married here yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is beautiful and the staff worked so hard to make everything perfect. The staff could not have done more, Amanda the wedding coordinator was amazing, we had a wedding package from the hotel which was great value and flexible and the DJ organised by the hotel was great. On Weds 31st July we had our magical Wedding Day at Stifford Hall Hotel. Where do we start though with thanking Amanda & the Team for their hospitality & the work they do to ensure that your Wedding is a day to remember. From start to finish Amanda was with us & any questions or concerns we had she answered & dealt with. Being in a wheelchair as the bride I wanted a venue that would be easily accessible & not cause issues on the day. Amanda, the Assistant General manager, was there right through from the first meeting to the wedding day. The whole process was handled very professional and Amanda made us feel at ease at every stage. When it came to the day it all went without a hitch. I have to say this review is embarrisingly late but I really had to join trip advisor just to review this fab venue where we held our wedding last year. Amanda and her team, were amazing, I couldn't have asked for more, from the initial first brief to the actual day, all I experienced was 100% profesionalism and more importantly care from every member of staff, all of whom were kind, curtious, thoughtful and who all worked so hard on a piping hot day. Even to the extent of reboxing the children's games at 1.30 in the morning. The venue looked stunning, our guests all commented on the quality of the food, venue and the staff and I truly did not have to worry about a thing.
