Sudbury House Hotel

Sudbury House is a Grade II listed building which was once a distinguished Georgian home. We have sympathetically transformed the hotel to its former glory creating a stunning wedding venue with the addition of antique furnishings complemented by beautiful clocks, sculptures and art work. The “ Old House “ offers you a traditional entrance for welcome drinks and photographs, an oak panelled civil ceremony room complete with a feature fireplace and the Regency room for intimate celebrations for up to 12 guests. In addition to this, Sudbury House offers a more contemporary design in the main hotel with a warm, friendly bar lounge, spacious modern accommodation and a large restaurant seating up to 160 for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an informal buffet or evening function. With extensive licensed areas within the main hotel, “ Old House “ and gardens, Sudbury House can offer you the perfect combination for your wedding from 10 to 160 guests. On the edge of the Cotswolds, in the pretty market town of Faringdon, the hotel is situated between Oxford and Swindon. Located just off the A420, within easy reach of the M4 and M40, you and your guests travelling from further afield will have no trouble finding us.
