As a family run business and independent venue, we take pride in being able to provide you with the personal touches and flexibility to truly make your Wedding Day as special as you have always dreamed of. We are based in Leicester and offer a choice of three function suites and our stunning bar, we can hold civil ceremonies and Wedding Celebrations from the most intimate to the grandest affair. Each of our function suites has a licence for civil ceremonies and partnerships to take place.

- llouise16/09/2016This was a perfect venue for my small wedding...This was a perfect venue for my small wedding...This was a perfect venue for my small wedding (60 guests). The location was very convenient for everyone, being less than 5 minutes walk from Leicester city centre registry office. The premises are beautiful, retaining original period features and the modern decor is in keeping with the building's heritage. The afternoon tea food and beverages were a huge success with my guests. The tables looked absolutely lovely: so pretty and homely and welcoming. It was a wonderful day.This was a perfect venue for my small wedding (60 guests). On the day the staff were unobtrusive yet always there and ready to help. They coped with a couple of unexpected changes seamlessly. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and lends itself to a magical, understated glamour. The place is vast and beautiful and all of the staff are so helpful and knowledgable. Our day itself was amazing! When I arrived, everything was set up just as I imagined it, so I didn't have to worry about a thing! Although there were a few hitches, everything was swiftly dealt with by Natasha, our wonderful wedding coordinator! - RRebecca12/08/2016The whole process from my first viewing to the day...The whole process from my first viewing to the day...The whole process from my first viewing to the day after my wedding I felt completely calm and not stressed, the staff were excellent and extremely experienced and seemed to know exactly everything I was thinking and how to create it on my special day. Nothing was ever a problem, night or day I could contact them anytime as many times as necessary and it was always a welcome voice on the other end, the staff took time to really get to know me, my family and took every care into consideration.The whole process from my first viewing to the day after my wedding I felt completely calm and not stressed, the staff were excellent and extremely experienced and seemed to know exactly everything I was thinking and how to create it on my special day. She welcomed any questions or ideas we had and was very honest about whether it would work or not to avoid any disappointment on the day. Everything we had discussed for the day was organised and planned meticulously. Our guests were really looked after and everyone praised the food on the menu!! We love all of our weddings, the beautiful thing is when couples put their own personal touch on their wedding day - it might be personalised table numbers, the incorporation of a theme that is special to them, or including a family recipe in their wedding menu.

After all the planning and hard work before the day, enjoy your special day! It goes by so quickly, be sure to enjoy every moment!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
At a recent winter wedding the couple went for an enchanted winter wonderland theme and decorated the venue in branches and trees. The wedding began at 2pm and from 9am on the day we lit scented candles around the venue to create a really nice atmosphere for the guests. The couple had a little surprise for guests too – they had an owl fly the rings up the aisle!
