This glorious oak framed house sleeps 18 plus and is set in total seclusion, surrounded by meadows, high in the Chiltern Hills near the Oxfordshire town of Henley-on-Thames. Close to London (25 minutes) the property includes 22 acres, pond, flower meadows, tranquil spaces. It offers a real home to you & your family, as well as a place to celebrate with up to 120 guests. Everything is included, furniture, decorations, lighting, seating, fire pits, dance floor, lovely loos, music systems. Choose your own unique style of wedding, as well as your own suppliers for food and drink. Keep control of your budget. The Copse is a venue that is gorgeous, unique, and waiting to be discovered.
Penny, the owner has a team that can help with advice and planning and together they prepare the property for a small number of weddings each year. Everyone feels special, with plenty of time to relax and prepare for the big day.
Come & stay, come & play, come & celebrate.... there are 9 bedrooms, a hot tub, a 14 seat cinema in green plush velvet with a huge screen, it is walking distance from the pub, flower meadows, stretch tented courtyard space for ceremonies, pavilion for reception, each with furniture for your 120 guests to enjoy, & help make your wedding amazing. Our acoustic barn is all yours for dancing the night away!

We are unique in that you stay for 4 days and this is your home from home, with a celebration on one day and often a rehearsal dinner on another day and maybe a Sunday lunch. Rates vary according to guest numbers, time of year and number of days of stay. Rates for a small informal out of season wedding based on the house starts at £4500 and at the upper end of the scale a large summer wedding over 4 days is up to £18000. Importantly prices include VAT and we aim to include everything you need in terms of infrastructure, plus heating, lighting, furniture, decorations, bars, kitchens for caterers, special loos and so on. Stay onsite for 3 nights over 4 days, house sleeps up to 18 guests with hot tub, cinema room and Arctic Cabin BBQ. 2 kitchens for you and your chosen caterers to use. Wedding day hosted in the garden with 2 outside covered spaces and a party barn for music and dancing. Furniture included for ceremony and wedding breakfast as well as table decorations and additional car parking for your guests. Purpose built onsite toilets for your guests. No corkage and choose your own suppliers.

It was so wonderful we just want to do it all again. The Registrar married us in the gorgeous courtyard. I was worried about the weather but it was all perfect. Of course I think this is the best venue in the country as I chose it for our wedding. Having your family and friends to stay and more staying nearby is the very best most memorable wedding weekend,As the house manager at The Copse it was wonderful to marry here surrounded by family and friends. It was so wonderful we just want to do it all again. The Registrar married us in the gorgeous courtyard. I was worried about the weather but it was all perfect. This was crucial for us as we wanted to cook most of the food for lunch and dinner ourselves together with a hired chef.
