Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales in the gorgeous village of Burnsall, lies your perfect wedding venue waiting to be discovered. The Devonshire Fell is a place where every detail has been considered and our wedding coordinators will orchestrate the most amazing day so you can cherish every moment. The Dalzell Room offers a warm and romantic atmosphere in which you can exchange your vows surrounded by your loved ones. The hotel is able to accommodate up to 80 guests for civil ceremonies and a maximum of 90 for a wedding breakfast (including use of the conservatory for 20 guests). The Devonshire Fell is an amazing exclusive only wedding venue with an evening capacity of 100 so you can party the night away. The Devonshire Fell is ‘Exclusively Yours’ from 12.00pm on your wedding day or can be hired for a whole weekend. With 16 luxury en-suite bedrooms which combine a modern style and fun design, up to 32 guests can stay over with an additional 10 children. All residents can also enjoy the tranquil surroundings of The Devonshire Spa on nearby Bolton Abbey Estate as well as the estate walking routes for those who wish to stay a little longer.

A Dream!A Dream!
Hello!!!! Oh Hannah you were just amazing! We honestly still can't get over how amazing it was! It was PERFECT all our friends were just in awe of how good it really was! Honestly though Hannah you made that day a dream.... What an absolute credit to the business, Hannah you had the most gentle and calming aura, every question was answered, nothing was a problem, and your attention to detail was so evident on our day!! Hannah regularly emailed and called me up to the build up of our wedding, we also received such a lovely personal email when our baby boy finally arrived (pre wedding) Hannah remembered our due date and took the time to send a lovely email.. My focus naturally became very much so on our new baby and I was always worried our day would suffer because of this... How wrong I was! I almost felt as if "We have not done anything? There's been no issues, no wedding dramas?" It's only now we look back a month on and realise this was purely down to Hannah's professionalism. We were NEVER approached with an issue or disheartening piece of information. Hannah would email back when she had all information and questions answered, there was never a time she "didn't know the answer" or "wasn't sure." Her natural like ability factor is priceless and hard to find! Treasure her... She made me the happiest girl alive that day! Spectacular hotel with an amazing teamSpectacular hotel with an amazing team
OMG where to start! We recently had our wedding at DF and it is one of the best hotels I have been to. Not only because it has one of the most beautiful views I have seen, or because the food is stunning, or the hotel unique and a little quirky in parts but mostly because of the amazing team led by Jen. From start to end Hannah and Helen did a great job helping us plan our wedding and the whole team over the two days were amazing. We wanted something very relaxed and took over the hotel for 2 days. The hotel has 16 lovely bedrooms and lovely rooms for weddings and dinners. It has a fab conservatory you can sit in drinking whatever and drinking in the view. The food was delicious from when me and my bride arrived on Monday to our last big gorgeous breakfast on Saturday. This place is not only perfect for weddings but for any special occasion whether it is hiring it for a big get together for family or friends, or for a romantic time away. The DEVONSHIRE Fell is classy but relaxed and you can use the spa facilities at DA as a resident, it's only a 10/15 mins drive away with pool, jacuzzi, steam etc. Burnsall is amazing and a heaven for walkers of all grades whether you walk a pootle along the river to Grassington or hike up into the fells. Visit the DF and Burnsall and you will fall in love. Oh and you can bring your furry babies as well. Thank you to Jen and your amazing team. We will be back to visit you as soon as possible. I want to express my sincere thanks to the staff at the Devonshire Fell for making our wedding the most wonderful day anyone could wish for. The hotel and gardens looked beautiful and everything was organised to perfection. Our guests were extremely well looked after and I have been flooded with compliments from them. The team could not do enough for us and it was clear they cared deeply that our Wedding Day was very special. Truly the best day of my life! Cannot praise highly enough.I want to express my sincere thanks to the staff at the Devonshire Fell for making our wedding the most wonderful day anyone could wish for. The hotel and gardens looked beautiful and everything was organised to perfection. Our guests were extremely well looked after and I have been flooded with compliments from them. The team at the Devonshire Fell provided an excellent and very personal service, they considered how we wanted our wedding to be. Nothing was too much trouble, all questions before were answered quickly and clearly and they were happy to accommodate our requests. Our request to set-up our chair cover the day before and for them to ensure they were picked up by a courier the next day were met with ease. One of my guests who stayed at the Devonshire Fell has a little girl and wanted to check in early to ensure she had a nap before the ceremony. The Fell could not have been more helpful in accommodating them. We had many compliments from guests about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was, all down to the Fell. All the bedrooms had been recently refurbished and stunningly decorated and all our guests who stayed with us were delighted with their accommodation. One key feature that attracted us to having our wedding at The Devonshire Fell was the simple pricing structure. When we booked it was clear how much our wedding would cost and the Fell were happy to provide us with prices for any extras we considered. I felt that the venue provided excellent value without compromising on quality. The team at the Devonshire Fell helped us throughout our wedding preparation with advice and assistance. One that comes to mind has to be James & Steph's in May. They arrived in style on a giant tractor, had a a converted horse box which was for face painting & a photo booth and also a Landrover which was transformed into a delicious wood fired oven for pizzas! The day was so personal to them and I loved every detail!

Get as much sorted as early as possible - that way you don't have a last minute panic or spend!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Table centrepieces which have been handcrafted from a family oak tree and then carefully pressed flowers attached to them with tweezers - incredibly personal and memorabilia for each guest to take home with them!
