If you are looking for a unique venue to provide a stunning backdrop to your wedding day, then look no further than The Granary at Fawsley. Set in a private, tucked away location amongst the picturesque countryside in Northamptonshire, The Granary operates on an exclusive use basis and with 10 bedrooms, wedding couples and their guests can relax and feel at home.

Our Barns
The Fawsley Suite is an elegantly rustic space with Grade 2 listed windows and beautiful views, ideal for smaller or more intimate celebrations. It is licensed to host civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests and can also be transformed for a smaller wedding breakfast (up to 35).
If you are looking for a larger venue, then our sumptuously decorated marquee-lined barn will be the perfect fit for you. With space to fit up to 160 guests, you can let your imagination run wild with the décor in the barn as the white fabric of the lining can be customised with your choice of décor. The barn is also licensed for Civil Weddings of up to 200 ceremony guests.
After the celebrations, you and your wedding party can relax and unwind in one of our contemporary and stylish ensuite rooms, each with a unique and individual character.

Glenn, Tom, And Kassie are all unbelievable anything you need they sort it. We can't fault the day at all. It was truly incredible. We had 160 to the evening and there was plenty of space for more. The bar staff kept on top of everything even when an order of 100+ Yaga Bombs went in. If your considering the venue don't hesitate just book it, you will not be disappointed. Rachel was very helpful on the day when we had a slight problem and she managed to sort it for us with our cake. We really can't fault it, the perfect venue. We had rain on the day and the team were running around making sure the barn was ready for guest to come down. It really was an unbelievable day and the staff and team really are a pleasure to be around. Thankyou to everyone involved and we will be back soon for afternoon Tea and a catch up with everyone. We got married here on Saturday 2nd September 2017 & had the most magical day. The sun was shining, the guests were smiling & the drinks were flowing. It was perfect! We stumbled across the Granary on an outing shortly after becoming engaged & immediately fell in love with the quaint idyllic setting, the friendly staff & the relaxed vibe. We knew it would be perfect for our special day & reflect us as a couple. From start to finish Glenn & his team had lots of contact with us, we were encouraged to get in touch with any queries & visit when we wanted in order to plan our day to perfection. We were able to come the day before & set up the barn & ceremony room. We were provided with Tea and lots of help & advice from both Glenn & Tom. It was so lovely to be given an empty room & the opportunity to let our creative juices flow. By the end of the day we were so happy that all of of thoughts & ideas had come together to create the perfect setting. On the day Glenn, Tom & the staff were on hand to cater to our every need, resulting in the day running smoothly & all our guests feeling relaxed and happy. We have two boys so an important factor for us was that we could get married somewhere that felt homely & safe, the kids had so much fun exploring. The surrounding scenery was the perfect backdrop for our photos! All our Guests commented on how lucky we were to find such a lovely place. I could go on and on - thank you so much for everything! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We struggle to pick just one to be honest. Every couple bring their own special touches to our venue. Our beautifully draped barn provides the perfect blank canvas, and we've had everything from elegant rustic themes to colourful festive themes and even more specific themes like classic cars, motorbikes and a viking theme where all the guests dressed up.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Our number one tip is make sure you hire a good photographer. They will document your day perfectly and give you long lasting memories of your special day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
There are so many to pick from, if I had to pick one, couples initials lit up whilst fireworks are set off. We love fireworks!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have a well house built in 1608 adjacent to our barn that is simply stunning. A common backdrop for photos is sunset, a sight not to be missed.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have had Sir Chris Hoy, various Northampton Saints Rugby Player and the Williams F1 drivers have all been guests of the Granary.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Smoked salmon, beetroot and vanilla on brioche toast
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Cheese toasties - a firm favourite among our guests.
