Our dream weddingOur dream wedding
Our wedding in August couldn't have been more perfect. Jane was exceptionally helpful during all of the planning, that included meeting my Husband and I, our families, answering all emails swiftly (no matter how silly they were) and dealing with lots of last minute changes. On the day, Jane and the rest of the team were incredible. Everyone was so happy to help and worked hard to make the day run smoothly. The whole day was faultless. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue, the staff and the food. It means so much that we have nothing but fond memories of our wedding day. Our stay in the bridal suite was amazing, the room was beautiful and spotless. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and again the service was faultless. We look forward to visiting the hotel lots in the future and will recommend friends and family to do so too! Fantastic Wedding VenueFantastic Wedding Venue
We arrived on Friday 17th August for our wedding the day after and our room was lovely. It was spacious, had great facilities and made was the perfect place to get ready in. We had a fantastic wedding day with the ceremony and reception both at the hotel which was so easy as we had no need to travel. A big thank you to Jane the wedding coordinator and all staff at the hotel for making our wedding day the best day of our lives, every single person we dealt with was so friendly and kept us at ease and stress free. Our meetings were always informative and nothing was too much trouble, the reception room was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious and the service was faultless. Everyone made us feel so special and even ensured that we were able to sit and have a drink just the two of us to celebrate tying the knot. We love the hotel and cannot wait to return. My husband and I just celebrated our wedding reception at The Greenbank and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and our room (the lookout suite) was incredible. We can't wait to go back for our anniversary😍 I would highly recommend The Greenbank as a wedding venue. A truly memorable wedding, all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it! I must say, the wedding team were sensational, everything ran so smoothly with fantastic attention to detail and with so much happy energy. My family and I go to The Greenbank for many occasions, birthdays, Christmas Day, for afternoon tea and lunch so it was only natural that it would be the place we held our Wedding. We love the hotel and from the start we knew that it would be a perfect day, nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff, Jane the wedding & events manager is brilliant, her attention to detail is spot on and a special mention to Laurence who is the politest, kindest barman. We held our ceremony and reception at the hotel, we went for the St Anthony Sharing package which is new to the wedding packages and went down well with the guests, it made the dinner service really relaxed and informal which is what we wanted. I would recommend the hotel to anyone, it is the best hotel in Falmouth, the service is always 10/10, the décor, rooms, food, staff, EVERYTHING is brilliant. I can't express enough how much we love The Greenbank. This place is good! Spent a full day and evening at the hotel for a wedding ceremony. Excellent food, great service and a fabulous selection of gin! Visited for the wedding of a friend and although we didn't stay at the hotel everyone who did had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.This place is good! Cousin's WeddingCousin's Wedding
We didn’t actually stay over in the hotel as it was a little out of our price range but my cousin had his wedding breakfast and reception there so we were there all afternoon and evening. The wedding party and guests that did stay there said the rooms were lovely. Main bar well stocked and had some nice cocktails including some specials. Excellent outdoor seating area. Hotel is in a lovely location on the estuary and the docks are in the distance. 10mins walk from the town centre. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room where the wedding breakfast and reception was held was nice with balcony over estuary.We didn’t actually stay over in the hotel as it was a little out of our price range but my cousin had his wedding breakfast and reception there so we were there all afternoon and evening. We booked our wedding here initially based on our first encounter with Jane the wedding planner, friendly open to suggestions and each detail recorded exactly as we asked. Constant support throughout the planning with the staff extremely friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautiful!the backdrop from the riverbank suite is stunning, the food is the best we have had! The new honeymoon suite is also amazing with beautiful views. All in all an amazing day and everyone of our guests commented on the hotel, staff and food. Thank you all for a wonderful smooth day,despite weather issues! Which were also dealt with exceptionally well. My Sister's weddingMy Sister's wedding
Yesterday was my sister's wedding held at the green bank hotel. I was one of her bridesmaids and stayed at the hotel the day leading up to the wedding. I had the privilege to meet Jane the wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing lady, my sister and new brother inlaw didn't have any worries everything was taking care of. nothing was to much trouble. She made sure everthing was going to be pecfect. Thanks to jane and her team everything was. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, down to helping wedding guest that arrived early in the morning to get ready to bringing extra tea bags. To the room. The room came with everything that u would need toiletries, towels, hairdryer. Kettle with various options very nice The shower was amazing. Powerful and hot the bed was very comfortable slept like a baby even thou there was a wedding party that night. It didn't effect our stay and experience at all. I would highly recommend this hotel for any sort of stay. But highly recommend Jane and her team to make your wedding day is perfect. BEST WEDDING DAY!!BEST WEDDING DAY!!
We had our wedding reception at the Greenbank 2 weeks ago and would thoroughly recommend anybody thinking about the venue to just go for it. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jane the wedding organiser was extremely helpful and organised on the lead up to the day and made organising the wedding fun and easy! What can we say about the venue!! The hotel sits on the river and has the most incredible views across to Flushing. We were so lucky on our wedding day with the weather which meant that people could have photos taken on the balcony attached to the function room. Jane was open to lots of ideas and encouraged us to come in to the hotel by boat which we are now so pleased we did as it was such an experience and our guests loved it!! The food was just incredible and many people commented that it was the best wedding food they had tasted! Our bridal suite was more like a luxurious apartment!! its just a shame we didn't get to spend more time lapping it all up but we will certainly be back to stay again at the hotel very soon. Every single member of staff were extremely helpful, polite and made the whole day run smoothly. The service was just impeccable!!
