The House Meadow offers exclusive hire for Saturday weddings during the Summer months (May-September). Whether you desire our country barn, a marquee, a teepee, or even a big top, we can accommodate it. The House Meadow has that magical atmosphere every bride and groom deserves for their special day and your guests will enjoy exploring the beautifully natural landscaped grounds, which provide stunning photographic opportunities. We offer you the freedom to create the day that you’ve always dreamt of with no restrictions on the suppliers that you choose. We know that the wonderful world of weddings can be daunting and over whelming but we’ll be able to support you with a wealth of experience, knowledge and guidance every step of the way. On your wedding day we’ll be there from dawn till dusk to make sure everything runs to plan, leaving you to enjoy your special day. Horseshoes Barn A beautiful unspoilt farm barn perfect for smaller weddings. For a seated Wedding meal the barn can accommodate 70 guests and for the evening celebration up to 110. The barn provides a cosy interior space which is highlighted with ancient Oak Timbers. Although full of character, the barn offers a wonderful open area perfect for you to put your own stamp on. Something different? We pride ourselves on offering you choice and flexibility. Whether the barn is too small for your guest numbers or whether you just fancy something different, perhaps a rustic teepee, a garden party marquee, or even a show stopping circus tent? You are free to choose and use the meadow as your backdrop. We’re here to advise you on the logistics and offer you an extensive range of talented & trusted suppliers. Available May-September for a maximum of 150 guests

The House Meadow is such a breath-taking venue. We knew the moment we pulled up in the car that it was ‘the one’. It is so stunning; the setting is beyond beautiful and to get married outdoors had always been a dream of ours. We waited two-and-a-half years to tie the knot there as there was a waiting list but it was worth every second. The venue owner Clare is such a lovely lady and helped us to plan the day to perfection. Throughout the planning process, she stayed in touch and gave us plenty of advice and recommendations. As the countdown to our big day began, we started ticking things off our list and we absolutely loved having the two days before our wedding to dress the venue and meet suppliers etc. It really made us feel organised for the wedding and that we hadn’t forgotten anything, meaning that we could get married without a worry! Our day was everything we’d dreamt of and more, we were both beaming from morning to night and all of our guests were so complimentary about everything. We’re so glad we chose The House Meadow to get married and would like to say a massive thank you to Clare and the rest of the team. Since coming back to reality after a truly amazing weekend we wanted to say a huge huge thank you to you and your wonderful team for what can only be described as the best day if our lives!!! The House Meadow venue and team made our day a truly magical one that we could only have dreamt of. From our first chat over the phone we knew the decision was made but arriving through the gates and seeing the stunning backdrop of the lake and the charm of the rustic barn sealed the deal…. And then meeting you Claire, you are incredible, so helpful and caring throughout our planning, putting our minds at ease with every little wobble we had along the journey, by helping us plan bits, recommending suppliers that were spot on, and helping us put our personal touches to the day, plus making sure we hadn’t forgotten anything!!! The venue is truly special but Claire you make it even more so. Nothing was ever too much trouble and you made sure you knew every single detail about our big day, which took a lot of pressure off and allowed us to relax and enjoy our day. We're a sucker for personalised vows and heartfelt speeches. We love it when the ladies do the talking too, bridesmaids and brides deliver some of our favourite speeches :)
