Above the sea, your guests will enjoy a wonderful day out as they take in the views and soak up the warmth of the UK’s Sunshine Coast. The huge terrace area is a photographer’s favourite, situated on three levels, the terrace offers a portfolio of spectacular photo opportunities.
Unlike hotel venues, there are no ‘pesky’ guests to interrupt your day. As the evening celebrations begin, you won't find guests congregating in a separate bar area. The Ocean Suite 'Long Bar', dining and dancing sit comfortably side by side, family and friends flow seamlessly from one area to another as they catch up with each other whilst creating new memories.
If you have your own catering ideas, talk to us. We’re happy to customise every element of your wedding day, if it can be done, we will do it! It’s your day so it’s your way. Your wedding planner has over 25 years’ experience in the business and is supported by a fully-trained team of chefs, bar staff and waiting staff. Have a look at the testimonials.

On your 'Special Day' my team and I will be in the background, ready to tend to the needs of you and your guests. Special care and attention is given to elderly, infirm, pregnant and child guests to ensure they feel 'looked after'. During the run-up to your wedding, you have 24 hour access to me via my personal mobile, I want you cool, calm and collected, it's all about you!

The price per person for the wedding package in 2019 is £60.00 per adult guest. The package includes the venue hire, arrival drinks, the wedding breakfast with a glass of wine, Prosecco for the toasts, your menu cards, place cards and table plan. There is also a complimentary wedding night’s stay in The Bridal Suite at The Mansion Hotel. There is a DJ booth with integral sound and lighting system for your use.

Maria in particular should get a medal for all the effort she went to to make sure we had the perfect day and everything went so smoothly! Communication beforehand was perfect and we were always kept up to date with what needed to be decided and when. She allowed us to decorate the venue early the day before which was super helpful as it meant we could relax in the evening before the wedding. On the actual day everything was fantastic. Despite the bit of rain we had, all of our guests loved the venue and said how impressed they were with it. We even went to the arcade for some fun wedding pics to remember our unique venue on the Pier. The food was delicious and all served so efficiently and smoothly. Ruben and the team were very attentive and the bar staff were helpful and always prompt serving everyone. The DJ was brilliant to finish the night off and we were even lucky enough to have booked the wedding on bonfire night and enjoyed the fireworks outside on the beautiful terrace. I could not have asked for a better wedding day and it would not have been possible without Maria and the teams hard work. Thank you so much for everything!!! Fran was the lovely lady who we first met and who helped us build the picture of our big day about a year in advance. Fran went on maternity leave a few months before our wedding, but was replaced by the amazing Maria ! Maria went above and beyond to cater to all our needs on the lead up to the wedding. On the big day to say they outdid themselves would be an understatement, they were the most caring, attentive and happy smiley staff we've ever seen. The food was fantastic, the wine was great, the aircon worked so well that people put jackets on (until we started dancing, then it was back on) our photographer was in love with the location and we have some great pictures to look forward to. we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else, it was everything we dreamed of. From the moment we first saw the Ocean Suite and the beautiful views that is has across the sea we knew we wanted to get married there. During the run up you put in so much effort, from chasing down our missing in action DJ to coordinating with our toastmaster to finalise timeline details. Even the day before you happily fixed the guest list to move some of our evening guests into drop-out day guest spaces at the last minute. Being able to access the venue to set up the night before was very welcome and allowed us plenty of time to put things in place. On the day I don't think a single thing went wrong. Everything flowed like it was all meant to happen just that way, no doubt due to all your work in the background. The timeline slipped between dinner and dessert as Daniel and I wandered the tables, but we were never aware and it all magically got back on track. Our guests have absolutely raved about the food, the lamb in particular. Vegetarian guests have said it is the best wedding meal they have had in a long time and catering to some of our most complicated dietary requirement guests was apparently no trouble for your chef. We had the most amazing day. I was apprehensive when Fran left to go on maternity leave as she had dealt with all the plans up until that point but you made time to meet me, we sat and went through everything from start to finish and what a welcomed change. It was so nice to speak to someone about my wedding who was actually truly passionate and interested in my ideas and plans. You assured me that if I needed help at any time to call you or email even outside of your working hours which was very much appreciated. We had chosen traditional fish and chips for our wedding breakfast and I have to say the food was delicious and served very quickly. Happy guests all round! You managed to entertain 11 children so the adults could actually listen and have a good giggle at the speeches which was great. Nothing was too much to ask for and I appreciate everything you done. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One couple wanted to hang their wedding cake upside down from the ceiling (it was a Disney 'Up' theme). I was reluctant, cautious but..............it worked and was amazing. There isn't a best wedding, it's like having a favourite child, each is fabulously special in its own way.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take a few minutes, usually whilst seated at the top table, to watch your guests as they enjoy your day, smiling, laughing and chatting. Take a mental photograph and store it away forever. Also, try not to keep the party going too much past midnight, guests have had a long day and you don't want to be waiting at the end for the few last stragglers to finish up when you'd rather be in the Honeymoon Suite.
