- LLara and Ben29/05/2018A moment we will never forgetA moment we will never forgetOne of my favourite, most cherished moments of the day itself (as well as marrying my husband of course!) was the sneak peek we had of the Ballroom before all our guests came through. The Head Butler, David came to get us to show us the Ballroom and I’ll never forget the beautiful warm smell of the flowers with the glow of many candles flickering about the grand space. Everything was just perfect and seeing our vision come together in the awe-inspiring Ballroom was a moment we will never forget.One of my favourite, most cherished moments of the day itself (as well as marrying my husband of course!) was the sneak peek we had of the Ballroom before all our guests came through. The whole setting of Goodwood is breath-taking, with such a sense of grandeur.Our day was everything and more than we could have imagined. From start to finish, everything was perfect and it truly was the best day of our lives. The food was amazing, there is nothing else that can be said other than it was simply amazing. The quartet were playing 'Skyfall' on the balcony and we entered the room for the first time to see it in all its glory - full of cherry blossom and all our loved ones.”In one word 'spectacular'. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
There was a wedding a few years ago where the couple wanted to include all the things they love (most of which were animals), and make it a weekend their guests would never forget! They had pre-wedding games, bride's team V groom's team, on the Friday followed by his and hers pre-wedding dinners. On the wedding day they had a polo match for guests to watch as well as a show by the Devil's Horsemen and a petting zoo! They had an incredible Chockwokydoodaa cake featuring all of their pets and their boat. It was great to see the couple take full advantage of everything the Estate has to offer and adding their own eccentric style!

The team. The House is stunning but it’s the people that bring it to life - the feedback we get about them is amazing.
