We are a completely unique and entirely innovative event space in the heart of Manchester. With exposed walls, stone oors and a raw urban backdrop; the simplicity of our venue provides a stunning setting for your wedding day. Built in the early 1900s as predominantly a cotton storage facility, our warehouse buildings have stood as a symbol of this city’s industrial strength and innovation for around 100 years. Since then, careful renovations have made it a venue to capture the imagination and create a surprisingly romantic backdrop for many couples. Here at Victoria Warehouse we realise every wedding is unique, and whether you plan a traditional format to the day or a more personal celebration; our dedicated wedding team will work closely with you to ensure your special day runs to perfection. We have four amazing spaces for you to choose from; The Bays, The Archives, The Cellars and The Cotton Sheds - all fully licensed for a civil ceremony. Our next Wedding Open Evening is on Thursday 28th May 2020, from 4pm until 8pm. We also welcome external catering for religious and cultural ceremonies and celebrations. Dry Hire for these events starts at £6,000.00 inc. VAT.

"Thanks so much for your congratulations - we had the best time! Just wanted to say a huge big thank you to your team, too - especially you and Maureen - for all of your help. The day went so smoothly and we honestly couldn't have asked for better - so many little things were taken care of that I didn't even notice until afterwards (buckets for the sparklers, lights being dimmed during the first dance, etc) and it just made for a really stress-free, enjoyable day. The food was also fantastic - even better than at the tasting - and we still have guests telling us how great the gravy in particular was!" We just wanted to say thank you ever so much for all your help and for making our party so special. We were slightly stressed and lost when we first got in touch but you were instantly incredibly helpful and put our minds at ease. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your efforts in organising our wedding, we both had a fantastic day, everything ran like clockwork! We had lots of guests commenting on the atmosphere created from the mood lighting and how magical it felt within the bays for our ceremony. The party was fantastic with plenty of great food and drinks. Please do pass on our thanks to the bar staff, serving staff, and all involved! Thanks again I can't wait for my pictures to come back! I just wanted to say how amazing our day was, all staff went above and beyond and made our day so so special. The food was amazing and nearly every guest praised the catering, which as you know is pretty rare at a wedding. The manager of the day was lovely and I really couldn't have asked for more. Victoria Warehouse was the first and only venue we viewed for our wedding back in December 2015 and we loved it instantly. We were after something different, a blank canvas that we could work with, without having to do absolutely everything ourselves. On the day so many guests commented on how relaxed the atmosphere was and this was in no doubt down to the team working on the evening. Nina, David and all the waiting on staff were excellent and kitchen team did a great job with the food. Considering one half of us is a chef/restaurant owner, our particularly high standards were certainly met by VW! Thanks VW for such a fun and memorable day. The venue looked incredible, everything went to plan, and we are so so glad we opted for a warehouse wedding! We started confidently, pretty sure we could handle the planning and execution of the wedding ourselves. It quickly became apparent at our planning meetings that we had a lot to do and a lot of decisions to make, and it’s safe to say that we would not have made it without the help of Nina. Each planning meeting was well organised and effective, and the advice on offer was wonderful. Despite there being three live bands, a DJ, 130 guests and torrential rain all day we could not have asked for more from the venue and their team. They helped execute our plans seamlessly, made the right calls rather than disturb us and generally made sure everyone had as much fun as possible – which was exactly what we wanted. Nina even hand wrote our table plan on a chalk board the night before, which it is fair to say is above and beyond the call of duty! The food and room decoration were incredible, and the staff on duty could not have done more for the guests. If you want a really different venue, with great staff and wonderful food don’t hesitate. We were overly satisfied with the service we received for our wedding and we would recommend this unconventional venue to any couple wishing to book. The whole day ran extremely smoothly and this was testament to the planning and professionalism of the Warehouse team. We had several meetings prior to the wedding to go over the finer details of the day and our plans were interpreted and executed perfectly. We were really fortunate to hear about the Victoria Warehouse as if we hadn’t, our wedding day may have not been exactly as we had imagined it. Fantastic venue, lovely staff and an unforgettable day! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

No two weddings are the same but we've seen some pretty amazingly themed weddings right down to an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding and a Harry Potter wedding.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Research. We would recommend that all our couples take the time out to research thoroughly from the venues to the vendors and suppliers, right down to the littlest details. Double check the prices for everything and get clear confirmation of the arrangements they are making rather than assuming an arrangement has been made.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The human touch.

Some of the weddings we've seen have really told the journey of the couple and have been quite intimate. That humanistic approach really made us savour the day as it was and the story being told through couple.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

We have a variety of favoured spots here at the warehouse from the photos taken at the front of the warehouse, the special moment on the aisle in The Bays. But our current favourite would be the pictures taken at the back of the warehouse by the canal.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have welcomed the likes of Alan Carr, Melanie C and Tim Minchin.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our Compressed Melon with Mojito Syrup is pretty special!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Loaded Fries Station with a variety of toppings including; beef chilli, pulled pork and vegetable chilli. Served with a variety of sauces.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The original industrial features such as the old railway tracks and the yellow markings in The Bays venue space.

What part of your business are you most proud of?
