Set within a former senior school built in 1932 the spacious Trevelyan Hall has an elegant, vintage décor, acting as a blank canvas for the wedding of your dreams to become a reality. With a capacity of up to 200 we can tailor the venue to suit your requirements, from the intimate to the grand. With a purpose-built stage, full lighting, sound system and a disco ball, the hall has everything to keep people dancing into the night. Your day also comes complete with your own private bar and foyer area to welcome guests. Our range of packages can be tailored to make the bespoke wedding day that you envisioned. We have our own onsite catering team, offering a range of menus to create an unforgettable meal for you and your guests to enjoy. We can also tailor our menus to suit special dietary requirements. We are just a few minutes’ drive from the scenic north east coastline, the ideal setting for some stunning photos to commemorate your happy day. Our combination of vintage settings, delicious food and cheerful, efficient staff is the ideal mix to make your wedding unforgettable. Our packages start from £995, which includes your full day hire with exclusive use of our main hall, garden foyer and bar, setup the day before, white table linen and chair covers, use of our in-house PA system, free parking and your designated wedding coordinator. We have 3 packages available, each adding a little more to your day depending on whether you would like to personalise and do everything yourself, or if you would prefer the ease of having our staff make all arrangements for you.

Can't thank staff at the venue enough for a perfect day for my wedding on 21st May 2016. Everyone had a cracking time and all your hard work did not go unnoticed. The food was excellent, the music was great and the hall looked gorgeous. Can't recommend the place enough. I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the staff. My daughter held her reception and evening party there on Saturday 21 May. The staff worked so hard to make it such a special day for Rachel and Rob. All the guests were highly impressed by the room and the lovely food that was provided for both the afternoon and evening party.I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the staff. Sarah, John and the team were fantastic. The hall looked amazing, everything ran smoothly, our guests loved it! Lovely food, excellent service. Would recommend and book for a party again! We held our wedding reception here on the 27th of August 2017. We had the most amazing day! All of the staff were great from start to finish. Sarah & John were on hand throughout the planning and were always helpful. We chose a package to suit us which gave me the freedom to be creative and add personal touches. Everyone on the day was fantastic, the food was amazing, fresh, homemade and enjoyed by all! The bar was stocked with all of our favourite tipples, managed fabulously by the bar staff. The venue looked amazing, the outside space was a hit with everyone as we were lucky enough to have glorious weather. The day went off without a hitch!
