With the stunning backdrop of dramatic hillsides and rivers, our
Victorian grade II listed, former Headmaster’s House and School, sit
proud and welcoming in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
We promise luxury, relaxation and beautiful interiors, as well as
a superb 3 AA Rosette menu, a bespoke wine and bar list and a
personal and professional service from the moment you arrive.
Voted the most romantic hotel in the UK, we pride ourselves on
creating the most amazing day you will never forget.
We have two beautiful rooms licensed for civil marriages and civil
partnerships.
The Orangery, a beautiful room with panoramic views of the Dale,
is perfect for up to 90 guests seated, more with standing.
The Masters Room, with it’s large bay window overlooking the
lawn, creates an elegant setting ideal for an intimate ceremony for
up to 25 guests.
With five beautiful churches nearby, Askrigg, Hawes, Hardraw,
Stalling Busk and Aysgarth there is also the option for a church
ceremony followed by reception at Yorebridge House.
After the “I do’s” it’s time to celebrate, mingle and share some
bubbles with your friends and family.
With exclusive use of the house and grounds, your drinks
reception and canapés can be served on the terrace and gardens or
in the lounge bar.
Your 3 course wedding breakfast can be enjoyed in the House for
up to 75 guests or in a Marquee or Tipi on the lawn for up to 120
guests.
Your wedding menu will be created by our award winning kitchen
team and drinks chosen from our carefully selected, extensive bar
and wine list.
The House is yours for the night.
All of our bedrooms are individually designed offering the ultimate
in luxury, style and relaxation.
Sumptuous furnishings, up to date
technology, stunning scenery and with the utmost attention to
detail, you and your guests will feel spoilt and pampered throughout
your stay.
Many of the bedrooms boast private terraces with hot tubs for you
to relax in the bubbles whenever you wish.

The staff and management of the hotel couldn't have gone to more trouble to make this the perfect wedding. The whole place is beautiful inside and out and the food is superb. We stayed three days at the hotel with the wedding happening on the second night, both in the existing premises and the beautiful 120+ guest tipi, which was erected just outside the main room(s). The staff at the hotel were absolutely incredible, always around and accommodating to every request that was made. Charlotte, Dave, Sophie and the team put in such a phenomenal effort by keeping up with all of the guests - being on hand 24/7 and keeping us all supplied with food & drink, directing us around, cleaning up after us, and generally making our experience as carefree and amazing as possible. The bride, groom and family of both have been blown away with how beautifully decorated the spaces were for us, and the outdoor tipi was especially memorable. The food was spectacular, both in the private dining area (amazing wine cellar downstairs, would highly recommend using) and served en masse during the reception. The highlight must have been the fantastic fireworks display that Dave put on for us, which was honestly on par with anything you would expect from a professional crew. Will never forget having the team on site until we had all finally gone to bed at 2.00am and then seeing some of the same faces bright-eyed and bushy-tailed making us breakfast from 8.00am. The staff at Yorebridge offer a first class service, cater to your needs and will always leave you feeling cared for. We had our wedding at Yorebridge House on the 6th August 2018. Our wedding was a seamless, beautiful day, thanks to the attention to detail and organisation of Charlotte and the Yorebridge team. We fell in love with Yorebridge on our first visit, after 3 meetings and 2 restaurant visits, we couldn't have been more excited for our wedding day. As vegetarians, they catered for our needs and our 48 guests. The hotel was spacious and flowed through from the inside to out, giving our guests the freedom to be in a quiet space away from the main wedding if they wished. Charlotte the hotel's owner, gave us a professional, responsive service, in regards to our many queries. During meetings, we felt well catered for as she would know exactly what needed to be asked even if we hadn't thought of it ourselves. With Charlotte at the helm, this meant our wedding day was a seamless and relaxed day. Their attention to detail is second to none. They managed our wedding reception perfectly, we were able to enjoy our day without a worry. We have made several overnight visits before and since our wedding, each one as perfect as the first. The only difficulty they give guests is deciding which one of their fabulous rooms to stay in!Yorebridge is perfect in every way. The staff offer a very warm genuine welcome on every visit. Their attention to detail is second to none. They managed our wedding reception perfectly, we were able to enjoy our day without a worry. The service from Sophie, Henry and the team throughout our 3 day stay was impeccable and went above and beyond all of our expectations. All of the rooms are exceptional - each individually designed to a very high spec. The bathrooms in particular are amazing, as are the ridiculously comfy beds. A number of our guests enjoyed rooms with hot tubs, which was a very welcome added bonus! The food at Yorebridge is also top class, from the delicious breakfasts to the incredible evening dishes. Finally, as a wedding venue, we couldn't rate Yorebridge highly enough. Sophie and all of the team were so accommodating throughout the weekend, Yorebridge felt like a second home to us! Sophie coordinated the day perfectly and it could not have gone more smoothly thanks to her hard work and attention to detail. We honestly couldn't recommend Yorebridge more highly as a wedding venue and are so glad we chose it for ourselves!
