When we started to plan our wedding, we thought of videography as an expensive extra. Having now received our wedding film I would give up many other things to be able to have such wonderful memories. Not only did Carol capture moments that we were unable to see at times when we had to be present elsewhere but she captured people that mean a lot to us and that we now have on camera in the most beautiful setting. This is invaluable and worth every penny. The editing and the way in which the film has been put together is just amazing, so thoughtful and captures all the finer details I spent a long time organising. After the wedding I definitely had a case of the wedding blues but on receiving our video it brought to life all our memories again. What a wonderful thing to treasure and look back on for the rest of our lives. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with carol, she friendly, approachable and discrete. We were recommended Cut above productions by a friend who had used them for their wedding and I am so glad we chose them! They managed to get the absolute best bits of the day captured without us really noticing they were videoing! Was such a relaxed vibe, nothing was missed out! The team were very friendly and helpful through the whole day. When the montage came back several friends had a tear! They have not seen the bigger video yet! Carol is not only great fun to work with (and if you are going to have someone with you for your wedding or event all day you need to have a bit of a giggle I think!), but she is so professional. We hired Carol and the team at Cut Above to do our wedding video in June 2018. With so many companies to choose from, it was a tough decision, but we are so glad we picked them. We were quite clear that we didn't want something that was too cheesy, but quite classic. Carol listened to our brief and delivered an amazing memory of our day. She even sent two camera operators to the church, which added a fantastic second dimension to the ceremony. Paul, our main cameraman was amazing on the day and made us feel very much at ease. The editing of the final video is very professionally done and the choice of music and timing is spot on. Thanks to Carol and the team! We would definitely recommend Cut Above to others - if you are not sure on getting a video made, I recommend you do, was the best thing we could have done.
