My favourite personal touch was a ‘through the keyhole’ film that the best man had secretly recorded around the bride & grooms home. It was funny and sweet and you could tell it was a complete surprise.

Everyone is different, although a 'typical' enquiry comes in through the website asking for some information on my packages. We will usually email, then Skype or talk over the phone, agree a package and then the couple complete my booking forms and pay the deposit plus travel expenses.

This is really important - any film that is going online has to have quite specific copyright and any wedding film professional will tell you this. Some hits are impossible to get licensed.... I once shot a wedding for a cousin of a member of Westlife - even he couldn't get copyright release for his cousins wedding. That said I do scour licensing resources for great music that can be licensed for wedding films and my current favourite is 'Hold you Tighter' by Kyle Reynolds.

I loved filming family weddings and got the bug for film straight away.
