Description
No wedding at Burtown is the same as the last. We offer truly individual touches like using all our own ingredients from the garden. There’s even an option to use our own flowers for your displays or bouquets. The seasons help inform both the location and the menu, as we pride ourselves on providing rich home grown, organic produce. We can comfortably provide for up to 120 guests in The Green Barn for dinner or up to 140 in a more relaxed fashion and welcome additional people for the after party.
We always like to say that anything is possible, so are open to discussion on any ideas and requests you might have. If you are looking for rustic elegance made unique with your own individual style, please come and visit to see how we can. We hope to answer your questions below and to give you a flavour of what we have to offer - but please feel free to ask any questions if there is anything you feel we have missed. We love to host weddings here at Burtown, we will get creative with you, pairing our historic setting with a contemporary twist, beautiful gardens and superb, freshly-picked food straight from the garden. We help every couple who chooses Burtown for their special day create a unique experience that they won’t find anywhere else. There are a variety of settings we can offer, whether indoor in The Green Barn Restaurant, or outdoors in one of several inspiring areas amid 12 acres of gardens.

Our venue fee includes exclusive access for wedding couple and their guests to the private gardens that surround Burtown House and our further 12 acres of pleasure grounds. No outside guests will be allowed access to the grounds on your special day.
The venue fee also includes:
- a glass of prosecco or bottle beer or summer cocktail at your drinks reception
- meetings with wedding coordinator to help plan your perfect day
- wedding coordinator onsite, overseeing the smooth running of your big day
- heritage garden walk with James ,the owner, with your guests from your drinks reception to The Green Barn
- personalised wedding menus
- sound system for late night music
- easel and wood frame for table plan
- garden tent and garden rooms set up with lanterns and fire pits
- All spaces decorated in Burtown style with fresh seasonal garden flowers

The studio is not only furnished immaculately, but filled with a number of unique books and art to get immersed in. I would also highly recommend visiting the on-site Green Barn restaurant. This made a perfect home base for the southeastern leg of our journey, and honestly made me wish we had more time just to explore the grounds. We stayed in the Studio which was cosy and calm, a perfect rest. We'd eaten at the Green Barn previously, so we knew how good it was and on this our second time eating there, it has only gotten better. Delicious menu, extremely helpful staff ( Paul especially ) and just overall a really great overnight stay with delicious food and great wine. We were made to feel very welcome by all staff, including We stayed for one night at Burtown House just recently and overall the experience was fantastic.
