Having undergone refurbishment , our newly refurbished ballroom is the perfect venue that you've always dreamed of. Whether its a smaller, more intimate affair or a lavish wedding we can cater from anything from 50 - 350 guests.
To inspire you and help you along the way, our wedding team have carefully crafted a series of inclusive, customisable packages with everything you need for a magnificent day (and a few unforgettable extras, too.)

- EEilish & Paul03/07/2024The most perfect day!The most perfect day!We had the most perfect wedding day at The Heritage. Our ceremony and reception was all based in the hotel. We can't thank Louise and Aisling enough for all their help planning the big day! They were so lovely and professional, and they were always there to answer emails and phone calls with any questions we had. Anything we wanted, they did everything they could to make it happen for us. We can't get over how warm and welcoming all of the staff were, they made the day extra special with their exceptional service. The food was delicious and everything ran so smoothly during the meal, thanks to Alan, Joji, Patricia and the whole team. Our guests had use of the private cinema during our reception, which was ideal for watching Royal Ascot and football, a nice touch! The rooms were also AMAZING. We stayed the night before the wedding and the bridal party had the use of the fabulous Emo suite for hair and make up prep! Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better venue. 100% highly recommend The Heritage to any newly engaged couples searching for the perfect spot. Our guests have been very complimentary about The Heritage and the experience they had on our wedding day! We had the most perfect wedding day at The Heritage. Travelling by Train:
The nearest train station is Portarlington, 3km from the village of Killenard, served daily, travelling time from Dublin is approximately 45 minutes. For details of the train time table, please visit the Irish Rail website here.
Travelling by Car:
Just one hour from Dublin The Heritage is located in the quiet village of Killenard, a stones throw from the town of Portarlington. From the M7 take Junction 14 towards the R445 Monasterevin/Athy/Rathangan.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, take a left into the town of Monasterevin.
Continue through the town of Monasterevin travelling along the R445 for approx 13 min.
Turning right and travelling for approx 6 mins
Take a right into the village of Killenard.
The Heritage will be on your left.
