For large groups, we can host you in our Writer’s Room which can accommodate up to 90 guests for food and even live music.
The Wicklow Heather signature dishes include slow roasted leg of Wicklow lamb served on a bed of creamed mashed potato and market vegetables with a rich rosemary jus. From our dinner menu, why not try our steamed fillet of cod, with sauteed baby potatoes, chicory & mango and chilli salsa, or our crunchy parmesan chicken with spring onion champ mash, Clonakilty black pudding, smoked gubbeen & belly bacon stuffing in a creamy wild mushroom sauce. Also on our menu is our very popular roast rump of Wicklow lamb with creamy gratin potato, parsnip puree & balsamic roasted shallots. All of our lamb is supplied by our local butcher in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, and is all fully traceable from farm to fork.

- TTessa Claire18/06/2023Really gorgeousReally gorgeousReally gorgeous, old fashioned pub! Been here many times, even for a wedding! Their fish is amazing and the staff are so lovely and genuine. The pub is filled with old books, pictures and general items. Their bathrooms are always so clean. It's so busy on the weekends, because it's near Glendalough, so it is a little touristy. But definitely book ahead or go anyway. Make a day trip out of it, there's a petrol station up the road as well.Really gorgeous, old fashioned pub! Been here many times, even for a wedding! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nicola especially deserves a huge shout out for looking after us so well. My husband and I were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we were so looked after. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco, such a nice touch from Betty, who was a wonderful hostess. Our meal was delicious, from starter to dessert there was nothing left on our plates. Cannot recommend this restaurant enouEverything about this restaurant is amazing.
