Manor Farm Barn in Henley, near Ipswich in Suffolk, is the perfect venue with high quality facilities for all manner of events including Civil Ceremonies, Partnerships and Wedding Receptions, School Prom, Leavers Balls, Charity, Conferences, Christmas parties, Fundraising events and Private parties. Situated just 10 minutes from Ipswich town centre, our rural location ensures not only views of the beautiful Suffolk countryside but also offers flexibility not found at some venues.
Manor Farm Barn has a beautiful marquee style lining, with gorgeous chandeliers and a neutral colour scheme, lending itself easily to any theme. A large sprung black and white dance floor set to one side of the barn, offers ample space whilst allowing guests to talk freely to each other at their tables.
Outdoor weddings are simply charming and our bespoke services allow you to have the wedding you want and in the location you would like. The Garden Room is the first purpose build outdoor ceremony venue in Suffolk! The Garden Room is the perfect space which allows couples to have the choice of having an outdoor ceremony if they wish. The Garden Room oozes elegance and chic and is adaptable to anyone’s wedding theme. Of course if you're looking for an even bigger step back to nature, then our Woodland Ceremonies are just that! With just a few minutes walk, your guests will find themselves immersed in nature, able to enjoy the peace and tranquility that the woodland offers.
We can host the perfect Wedding reception. The barn is very versatile and can cater for small or large weddings and events from 30 or up to 220 guests at circular tables of 10; there is ample room for creating a stunning centerpiece and for those final additions. The large courtyard provides a sheltered spot to welcome guests with drinks. The outside stage offers the perfect arena for your entertainment or band, fashion shows or presentations and presents an ideal background for group and individual photos.

A well organised day with support from the staff at all times. We couldn’t have wished for anything better. They even came to stitch my wedding dress when I stood in it and ripped it! Becky is amazing at her job and helped us keep calm throughout the planning always letting us know she was there if we need her help with anything. After originally booking with another venue, we feel so lucky to have changed to this one after having the best experience, we wish we could have our wedding day all over again and we wouldn't change a thing. The food was amazing, we had so many compliments from our guests about the BBQ and the desserts (especially the Eton mess and brownies). The food on the BBQ was cooked perfectly, we really couldn't fault any of it. We had chips and baps in the evening, I couldn't manage it all but the chips were very nice. We were quite unorganised with planning so it was very helpful to have a venue that does almost everything, and not much decoration is needed because it's so pretty anyway. Becky was super helpful in planning our wedding and always replied very quickly to any questions we had. We had our ceremony in the garden Room which was beautiful, Becky and the staff did everything they could to make sure this could happen despite the weather almost not allowing it. The DJs were also amazing from start to finish! We then came across all manor of events . We viewed it and was absolutely in love with! The views are beautiful as was the barn with the fairy lit drapes ! 😍 you have a lot of choice of where you want to get married which I found really great it caters for everyone’s needs whether it is outside , woodlands or indoor like we had . The staff there was nothing but helpful , Becky our wedding planner helped with lots of advice as i had no clue how to plan a wedding and she always was there to answer any questions we had (which there was a lot 😂) . The food was amazing all our guest complimented on this especially the ones that was vegan etc which was amazing . We had bbq . Pudding table & pizza ovens in the evening and it was all amazing . The dj was lovely too and helped us with a lot of song choices as we didn’t have an idea 😂 over all the place is amazing and I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else . I definitely would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married . We knew from the first visit that it was the venue for us but AMOE were very accommodating with multiple visits with different members of the family before we secured our date. From then on, Becky was always on the end of the phone/emails to answer any of my questions no matter how silly and small they were. They have also recently installed gorgeous glamping pods which made the venue even more perfect for us as we were able to spend our wedding night at the venue. As for the day itself, Becky ensured that everything ran smoothly despite the weather not doing what we had hoped! We didnt have to worry about a thing. We couldnt have wished for a more special day. I wish we could do it all over again. Thank you so much AMOE for making our day so memorable.AMOE was the perfect venue for our wedding. What’s your favourite canapé?
We always find the King Prawns wrapped in filo pastry with sweet chilli dip are popular, however the sticky bourbon pork belly is absolutely to die for!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Fresh donuts from our pudding table - our chef always makes a few extra for the team to pick on!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We are lucky enough to have 4 wonderful alpacas on site, who your guests are welcome to pop down and see in their paddock. They are super friendly and very curious when they see new people!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The way we have grown as not only a business but as a team. With a close team, working together to ensure that every Bride and Groom have the best day they could wish for!
