The most romantic country wedding venue. Our weddings offer the exclusive hire of the entire estate. You will have exclusive hire from 12:00 p.m. the day before the wedding, giving you a whole day to prepare the venue allowing you to relax that night knowing the venue is exactly as you had dreamt. Our guests depart the morning after the wedding at 12 p.m. White Dove Barns can cater for both large and small weddings for a range of budgets. Our newly converted Grade II listed thatched barn can hold 128 guests for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast, but can equally suit smaller, more intimate receptions of 60 guests.

The food really was excellent, all perfectly cooked, exactly as the trial tasting and we received so many compliments from guests. We were spolit for choice for photo opportunities throughout the gorgeous grounds. For us having ample accommodation on site was so important too, meaning we could extend the festivities. The Dutch groom was able to accommodate all of his family and friends accommodation needs giving them the true English experience, and I as the bride was able to have my dream country English wedding without any of the stress knowing it was all being taken care of by the highly efficient attentive staff., I wouldn’t change a thing. Choosing a venue where we could have it all, the ceremony, the reception, the accommodation was ideal for us. The Dutch groom was able to accommodate all of his family and friends accommodation needs giving them the true English experience, and I as the bride was able to have my dream country English wedding without any of the stress knowing it was all being taken care of by the highly efficient attentive staff., I wouldn’t change a thing.

When we initially booked we went through family trauma and they were very understanding, helpful, and accommodating. On the day and in the run up they were very organised, helpful and genuinely cared about us having a perfect day. The food and presentation of the venue was perfect. We didn’t realise that the team had changed to Spencer and Alison until near the day and we were unsure of how that would be but they were ace!We had a wonderful wedding, full credit to the team at White Dove barns. When we initially booked we went through family trauma and they were very understanding, helpful, and accommodating. We have had comments from our guests saying it was the loveliest venue they have been too and the best wedding they have been to! We had the event quite laid back as this suited us but you really can make it whatever you want it to be - lots of flexibility with decorations. Staff were great, and made us feel confident everything was in hand. A truly wonderful venue!We had a wonderful weekend at white dove barns, we loved staying there for two nights. Food quality outstanding (we had lamb shanks) and all 80+ guests served in under 11 minutes. Whole evening was brilliant. Disappointed with some of the accommodation but the manager dealt with the problems exceptionally speedily. Would strongly recommend the venue for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Really couldn't fault the reception (wedding breakfast). Food quality outstanding (we had lamb shanks) and all 80+ guests served in under 11 minutes. Whole evening was brilliant. Our 400 year old grade 2 thatched barn and all of the 24 bedrooms in our luxury accommodation that we have 2 minutes from the function barn makes us stand out from the other venues
