Amalfi White

There is no venue in the Midlands quite like The Ballroom at Amalfi White. This is why we won the prestigious award of "Most Elegant Wedding Venue in Derbyshire 2018 and 2019”. A restored Victorian building in the stunning Market Town of Melbourne. Ceremonies and receptions are held in the elegant ballroom with eight huge, silver and crystal chandeliers hanging from an 1890s barrel vaulted white ceiling with ornate cornicing, big, beautiful windows framed with billowy curtains. A smart private bar is directly off the room with upholstered soft seating and fireplace. The venue has capacity to seat up to 90 for your ceremony and dining experience and 150 for a party. The Ballroom is completely self- contained, wheelchair accessible and air conditioned, essential for summer months, with lots of space for a dance floor. The White Bar The White bar with its panelled, pewter top makes a magnificent impact in this room. The softly furnished, antique sofas and wing back chairs create a refined nod to the glamour of the past and the magnificent windows create an ethereal light – wonderful for photographs. Draw the curtains and the room is classically intimate and relaxing. Available for smaller civil ceremonies of up to 25, or seated dining for 16 guests, our most intimate private room is beautiful. Amalfi Gardens In the summer months our garden can be used to complement your reception. Rattan sofas, dining tables with umbrellas, pétanque for the guests. Make the most of a glorious day amongst our white roses with an outdoor bar and our attentive staff.
