Welcome to Barns & Yard at Hanley Hall. Our Tudor barn and farm cottages have been artfully restored and renovated to create a unique venue for weddings, celebrations, feasts and festivities. We've poured our hearts into the restoration, creating a barn venue that’s at once comfortable and luxurious for you and your loved ones to celebrate your happiest of occasions. This is a place of contrasts – it’s a blend of ancient and modern, traditional and quirky, rustic and contemporary. At Barns & Yard, we've created a space that offers all the comforts of a contemporary venue fused with the history and romance of ancient barns. We want you to feel right at home here, so our barns and cottages are available for three-day exclusive private hire, allowing you to settle in and feel relaxed and ready to celebrate the way you deserve to. We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies, with four lovely spaces available for you to choose from. Inside, there’s the majestic oak Threshing Barn or the Cartshed, both of which can seat 100 guests. For a smaller ceremony, the warm and intimate Cider Barn can hold up to 40 guests. Outside, you can seat 100 guests in our landscaped Courtyard, as you stand beneath the stalls to say your vows. While not licensed, the shores of the lake or our woodland glade make for the most magical of settings for a celebrant-led ceremony or humanist wedding.

The most spectacular wedding dayThe most spectacular wedding day
Lisi and Kate welcomed us to Barns and Yard as though we were long life friends. We hadn’t viewed any other venues before this one and didn’t visit any afterwards, we fell in love with Barns & Yard straight away and knew it was perfect for us. When our wedding day finally arrived Lisi and Kate would have been better suited as our close guests rather than venue owners, which is a testament to how they approach customer service and your special day. They both put us at ease with supportive advice and great recommendations and couldn’t have done more to help make our day perfect. The suppliers that they recommend were outstanding and their quality compliments the perfect setting. We have so many amazing memories of our wedding day at Barns and Yard, the venue is superb and Lisi and Kate supported us really well in planning everything and in ensuring the day was the success it was. One of the things that distinguishes the venue from others is that the team focused on providing what we wanted rather than trying to push us to do or buy particular services like many other venues do. This helped in making the day and the planning process much more relaxing and personal. The venue itself is amazing, in addition to the beautiful and modern barns the lake is a really distinctive feature which impressed our guests. The accommodation is also fantastic with amazing attention to detail.
