Whether you are considering a Civil Ceremony, Civil Partnership, Wedding Breakfast or Evening Celebration. Whether it is traditional, formal, modern, themed or an extra celebration after a Wedding abroad, our team will assist you every step of the way, making your dream wedding celebration a reality.
Set in the picturesque Peak District surrounded by beautiful countryside, along with gardens and patios for you and guests to enjoy.
Our purpose built function suite offers a lovely room to personalise and create into your own very special setting and in the evening it transforms into a great room for continuing your celebrations with guests both inside and outside! The hotel offers room to suit all your guests with quiet lounge areas, play areas for the children, lawns and patios all open for your guests to enjoy.
We have a selection of bedrooms for your guests to stay overnight and offer special deals for two night stays. The Beresford Suite is the bridal suite included in most of our packages and offers plenty of space to get ready with your bridesmaids, hair dressers etc. and then after your days celebration a lovely room in which to relax and unwind.
Our chef's have years of experience in creating menu's to suit every taste and budget and although our brochures offer a wide variety of dishes, we are more than happy to discuss individual choices of menu.
We have a range of auxiliary services that we recommend including hair and make up artists, musical and alternative entertainment, wedding cars, flowers, bakers, stationery and table accessories. If you need anything for your wedding, we will source it for you, it is all part of the service!
We are very personal in our approach and you will find that by the big day, we have got to know you and your family, your likes and dislikes and we will do all in our power to assure your day is very special and memorable, going beyond your expectations.

- RRob & Karen12/09/2019Perfect!Perfect!From the moment we arrived at the Bentley Brook Inn for our first viewing, we absolutely fell in love with it! It is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views across the Peak District and gorgeous indoor spaces, and we knew immediately that it would be perfect for our day. Aside from the views though, what really makes this an incredibly special venue is the people there. Wendy and the whole team are absolute miracle workers and the nicest, most down-to-earth, hardworking people you will ever meet - nothing was too much trouble and their first priority was always ensuring that we got the wedding of our dreams. Every single person was beyond friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited to help us with the wedding, which made planning an absolute breeze! We were incredibly lucky with the weather and were able to have the outdoors ceremony of our dreams - walking down the aisle to my husband under that archway with the Peak District behind him is a memory I'll cherish forever. We were able to decorate the entire space exactly how we wanted, making our wedding very reflective of us as a couple. The food was absolutely incredible and plentiful - everyone was really impressed with the quality as well as the portion sizes! The DJ was beyond brilliant, and kept the dance floor completely packed for the entire evening. We really could not have asked for anything more, and we are so delighted that we got to celebrate our wedding in such a special, beautiful venue. It was the first venue that we viewed and we fell in love with the place as soon as we pulled up in the car park and we are so happy that we chose this venue for our wedding. We received a first class experience from the day we met Wendy, Joe and their team right up until the day after our wedding. My husband and I live in Edinburgh so organising a wedding 300 miles away could have been extremely stressful but Wendy and her team took all of that stress away and were there to help and advise us every step of the way. Our family and friends began to arrive a few days before the wedding and we were all made to feel extremely welcome. Everyone was delighted by the standard of the rooms and food/ drink at the Bentley Brook Inn during their stay. The wedding day was amazing. A truly beautiful setting and we got extremely lucky with the weather which allowed us to have our ceremony in the wonderful wedding garden. The function room was perfect and I was able to decorate it to my own taste which I really enjoyed with my bridal party!! Every guest commented on the excellent quality of the food and drink (we opted for the luxury carvery buffet and were not disappointed!) and so many said it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. We had great fun along with the evening guests on our hired ‘bucking bronco’ I’m sure Wendy and Joe thought we were mad for arranging this but allowed us to have the freedom to choose some entertainment for our guests that was personal to us. The DJ was great and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Everyone was so sad to leave the following day but their lovely breakfast at Bentley Brook certainly cheered them up and helped to ease any sore heads! Some of us were lucky enough to stick around to enjoy a few drinks the following day and enjoy the international toe wrestling championships held on 19th August, what a brilliant day we had! We had a hilarious time watching and taking part, great fun!! We were so sad to leave after such a fab weekend. I really can’t recommend The Bentley Brook Inn enough. Wendy and Joe are some of the kindest, most hardworking and genuine people we have ever met. Their fantastic team of staff are also a credit to them. So friendly, helpful and welcoming!! Our wedding would not have been the same without them. We are very much looking forward to returning to the Bentley Brook Inn in the future. Wendy does not leave any stone unturned, the attention to detail right from the initial meeting was spot on and nothing was too much trouble. On the day itself everything arranged was first class, great food served by attentive and polite staff. The whole day was overseen throughout by Wendy and her husband who were always on hand if required. A very professional team. Many of our guests also went out of their way to comment to us being very complimentary about the organisation, location, accommodation and food. All in all a superbly arranged, undertaken and successful day, we would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Bentley Brook as a wedding venue. The awards received are well deserved. The reception was held here and everything was first class. The staff were so attentive, food fantastic and hot, organisation of the whole day from arrival at 7am yesterday to departure today was absolutely spot on. All the staff were happy and pleased to help, the housemaids were friendly and accommodating. Everyone went that step further to make this a perfect day to remember. I am a critic and can often find something to niggle about but I honestly can’t fault this place. Well done and thank you.I cannot praise this place enough....it was our daughters wedding. The reception was held here and everything was first class. The staff were so attentive, food fantastic and hot, organisation of the whole day from arrival at 7am yesterday to departure today was absolutely spot on. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the most memorable was a couple who threw tradition to the wind. The bride chose vibrant colours with querky table decorations, flowers and favors. Each element of their wedding was thought through carefully so it was exactly what they wanted down to the most amazing bright yellow shoes underneath her dress! Each guest was taken into consideration and all ages were catered for; it was a pleasure to be a part of a unique and special wedding.
