Description

Within the historic setting of Blake Hall, and its lovely gardens, we are proud to offer you the beautifully restored 17th century barns as the perfect venue for your wedding. Blake Hall is only offered for exclusive use and is licensed for civil ceremonies, either inside the recently converted Hay Barn or outside under the canopy of the Old Saddlery. Reception drinks can be enjoyed either outside on the pretty lawn and terrace between the barns, or inside in the spacious Hay Barn. This leaves the Essex Barn for the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. The Old Coach House, and its impressive dressing room, is close by, sleeps six and is available for the night before your wedding. Staying here with your family or bridemaids is a great way to start the wedding festivities. Blake Hall is also proud to offer Stable Cottage, a delightful one bedroom cottage for the newly weds to enjoy on the night of their wedding as well as the Tack Room, The Carpenter's Shop and the Horse Box for their family and close friends. The seclusion and privacy of the Hall's stunning gardens and formal lawns and ancient trees provide countless opportunities for wonderful photographs and our experienced co-ordinators will be there to ensure your special day is stress-free and unforgettable.

We do not offer packages. At Blake Hall you pay for the food and drink you wish to provide for your guests based upon the number of guests attending the wedding. Due to the size of the venue, we do stipulate a minimum of 50 day time guests and also require that you offer your guests a sit down 3 course meal (or 2 courses plus canapés ). Best. Venue. Ever. Cannot recommend Blake Hall highly enough - the staff were fantastic from the get go with emails and literally any questions being answered within a day. The food was absolutely amazing, great portion sizes and we had so many guests comment on how good it was. Nothing was too much trouble for the team - we'd do it all again if we could! 😊❤️Best. Venue. Ever. Cannot recommend Blake Hall highly enough - the staff were fantastic from the get go with emails and literally any questions being answered within a day. Wow what can I say about Blake Hall... this was our perfect Wedding venue! I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to all of the staff at Blake Hall who made our day so perfect! It ran so smoothly and I felt so calm and relaxed throughout the day because of their hard work, organisation and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting, the grounds, the accommodation and the barns were just breathtaking and so many of our guests kept saying how beautiful it all was. We will never forget our perfect Wedding day at Blake Hall, thank you for making it so special 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Wow what can I say about Blake Hall... this was our perfect Wedding venue! Beautiful venue, gorgeous surroundings and the most amazing, professional, friendly and attentive team. The food provided by Waters Edge Catering was delicious. Dave and his team looked after us very well & were very friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. Austin, Dave and Corinne helped make my daughter’s day the most special day of her life and went ‘above and way beyond’ on the day. Thankyou one and all. We got married here on 07/09/19 and it was honestly the most perfect venue. Right from the get go Austin was incredibly supportive and answered my MANY questions. Dave and his catering team were great, we've had great feedback from guests about the food and there was a good range of choices. The staff on the night couldn't have looked after us any better and kept checking in to see if there was anything we needed. It's such a beautiful venue, everything is well kept, gardens are just stunning. We were hoping to get married outside but having the option of the Haybarn completely took the pressure off when the weather wasn't quite warm enough on the day. I wish we could do it all again!! The most breathtaking venue for a wedding the cottage we stayed in the night before the wedding was perfect staff went above and beyond to make the wedding perfect for my sister and brother in law. The barn is beautiful and the whole experience and beautiful grounds set the scene for a perfect ceremony from start to finish it was so well thought out, modern and romantic. Blake Hall has by far the best authentic barn facilities for weddings in Essex. With the renovation of the 2nd barn on site you now have the option of a beautiful ceremony inside or out. The grounds are beautiful and make for some great photos, the accommodation for pre and post wedding are amazing and really make the experience a memorable one. Venue, food and staff were all amazing, so many people commented on how lovely our venue was. We really wanted an outdoor wedding too. Such a beautiful place. Accommodation was also very nice. We had a fantastic day at Blake Hall. The staff were excellent and helpful to any queries I had on the day and months before the wedding. All communications were dealt with quickly which helped with my planning of my homemade touches to my wedding.We had a fantastic day at Blake Hall. I can't rate Blake Hall...I can't rate Blake Hall...
I can't rate Blake Hall and all its staff highly enough. The venue, although naturally stunning is maintained to the highest of standards by the staff. Each time we went to the venue prior to our wedding the staff were always hard at work e.g. repointing pathways, pruning the gardens, repairing fences! On the day nothing was too much to ask for, we made last minute changes that were 100% accommodated with no questions asked! Austin, Dave, Sarah, Rachel & ALL the staff at Blake Hall were amazing!I can't rate Blake Hall and all its staff highly enough.
