Overlooking Kendal Castle and the Lakeland Fells, Castle Green is Kendal’s only 4* Hotel and boasts an array of contemporary facilities, including ceremony and function spaces to accommodate 25 to 250 guests, in a truly breath-taking setting.
Our original house dates back to 1847 and still contains some of the traditional features for those all-important photographs, as well as our Wedding Gazebo in the gardens for a truly romantic ceremony location.
Our award winning wedding hosts will take the time to understand exactly what you want from your special day, and will suggest one of our carefully selected Wedding Package options, priced from £2,495, to suit your requirements. If you really can’t wait to say ‘I Do’, we have seasonal packages and offers available throughout the year, priced from £2,019.

Firstly because the staff Nicola and janine where just amazing and there attention to detail was unnoticeable. They made the preparations so exciting and stress free. The venue itself was just perfect and I would not change any part of my day. The castle green hotel truly looked after me and my husband with his health complications they made sure the day went without any problems and took into account his health. Must be our Summer house in the Gardens. Stone built in around 1920 it provides a fantastic 'mantlepiece' shot.

We had ex Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given at a wedding in March 2018.

Cartmel Valley smoked salmon and horseradish cream

Our Gazebo in the grounds, fully licenced for ceremonies and great for an informal family ceremony
