During the peak season from April to October with warm, sunny days and long summer evenings what could be better than exclusive use of the whole complex of 6 self catering cottages, the Wedding Barn licenced for Civil Ceremonies and the beautiful grounds for a whole weekend from Friday to Monday? Country Ways gives you the opportunity to share a wonderful getaway experience with up to 150 of your friends and family members in a stunning and very private location. With extensive gardens and large level lawns for a marquee, tipis or yurts you can celebrate in style with the magnificent North Devon scenery as the backdrop for your festivities.

Our pricing is for the hire of the venue only and is based on the time of year and number of guests on site for the celebrations. Please see our website for the full price list for 2018. During the off peak period of November to March we also offer 'Kiss Me Quick' weddings for up to 35 guests staying for 1 night in our own cottages, these weddings include many extras including the ceremony on site and start at £900.

Our wedding day could not have gone any better at country ways. We had the perfect setting overlooking the country side and the sun was shining, it was perfect. There is so much space outside to walk around and enjoy the view. We had our ceremony in the corn barn and also our wedding breakfast, the staff at country ways were so good in moving everything around after the ceremony for the breakfast they made everything look so lovely, We stayed 2 nights in one of the lovely cottages while some of our guests stayed in the cottages for 1 night, they day of the wedding. We had all 6 cottages and they are all so comfortable and very clean and tidy, and a lot of space if you are a big group or family. We also hired one of the fire pits which was lovely to have set up in the evening. Sue also mentioned that the children could come up to the farm and help feed the animals on the morning of the wedding which i thought was such a lovely touch. I Honestly cant fault this place at all! Sue is such a lovely lady, anything you needed to ask or get in contact she wouldn't hesitate to help and would also get back very quickly. Also the staff at country ways were brilliant at setting everything up from moving chairs and tables after ceremony to serving wine and just making sure everything was going smoothly for us! I have to mention Becky the main member of staff that came and met me the day before the wedding to talk about how we wanted our tables set up and what decorations we had etc, she was a star. Our son and daughter in law chose this magical venue for their festival style wedding in September. Everyone could see why! The views, tranquility and facilities were amazing. The cottages were fantastic and with the areas for camping and motor homes, easily housed 120 people.
