Jill and I would like to thank you once more for everything you did to make Joanna and Ed's wedding such an enjoyable occasion. We acknowledge so much of you care and attention to every detail in the planning and realisation of their wishes. Dorfold is truly an exceptional and beautiful location and your sacrifice to share your home with ourselves was greatly appreciated. It gave the day a special quality being your house guests and I hope as a wedding venue, it will continue to flourish and to the success you deserve. Your preferred partners that provided the catering and drinks were exceptional and could not be faulted. Although I did have a little "�wobble' over the canapes when the undernourished needed food when I perfectly content with the drinks! I regret making a comment at the time but appreciated Catherine's explanation and clearly she had everything under control. I hope a father's anxiety will be forgiven and should not detract from the quality of the food and service. Weddings are a stressful situation not just for parents, but the pleasant and friendly manner of everyone I think contributed to the success of the day. Once again, thank you for making such a memorable day possible. I just wanted to say a huge thanks for all of your help at Sophie and Chris’s wedding. I’ve shot weddings at so many venues over the years but I have to say that how you guys ran things on Saturday, and especially how you went out of your way to work with myself and Karina, and considered the job that we were there to do too was quite special. It makes absolute sense that we all work together, as I’m sure we all have the shared goal of doing the very best job we can, and making the day as amazing as possible for the couple. And from even before the day, upon arrival and throughout the day we both felt fully supported by the Dorfold team. So a huge thanks to you. I’m sure this synergy was felt by the couple too and helped them relax and enjoy their day. And boy did they look like they enjoyed it! Dorfold Hall is stunning, so congratulations on turning it into a beautiful wedding venue. Thanks again and very best wishes. We fell in love with Dorfold Hall the moment we drove in through the gates for the first time on the day we came to look around. As a venue it is simply stunning, with so many gorgeous spots for guests to wander and opportunities for gorgeous wedding photos. Our children too had an amazing time playing in the grounds on the day, the ability to close the gate of the walled garden was perfect as if meant the very small ones couldn’t run off! We chose to hold our ceremony at Dorfold too and although the weather didn’t let us have our planned outdoor ceremony, the gorgeous coach house provided a perfect location for our vows. Candice and Emmylou couldn’t have been more helpful in the initial planning stages with suggestions for suppliers, through to the last minute preparations and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble and they made sure our day ran seamlessly. We stayed at Dorfold on our wedding night in the fabulous bridal suite. A perfect end to a perfect day. This is the most magical day we have ever had. This is the most magical day we have ever had.
I would like to give my sincerest thanks for the way in which the day was organised so professionally. On arrival, we were shown around the venue and were welcomed in person by the wedding coordinator. The grounds were immaculate, the rooms were beautifully restored and the customer service was second to none. Emmylou was exceptional in her role ensuring that the bride and groom were kept calm before the big event and everything from the start of proceedings to the end of night was perfectly handled. A special mention to the catering staff who were very professional and polite working from noon to dusk keeping everyone fed and watered, they were a credit to your establishment. The photographer was also superb in her role and nothing was too much trouble. The Wedding Breakfast on Sunday was excellent and everyone enjoyed the privilege of being with the bride and groom before they departed for their Honeymoon. My wife stated that besides the birth of our two sons this was the most magical day that we have ever had and we will remember it forever. We appreciate the trouble and effort that everyone went through to make the day so special and we cannot thank you enough for the memories that we now have. I know that the bride and groom have had the best start possible in their new life together. Thank you so much for making this possible. We watched over time as their vision for the Hall turned into such a wonderful reality and became something really special. Their dedication to and passion for the hall, and their home, really shone through. They were fantastic through our wedding planning and really created the feeling that our wedding was so special and unique. When it came to our wedding weekend in July, everything was perfect.
