Description

Picture your wedding marquee in the stunning location of the main lawn of this Heritage garden, overlooking the Canal Lake’s stone bridge with a vista of the Doric Temple in the distance, all to a backdrop of the old coach house with its elegant clock tower surrounded by magnificent old specimen trees. As your guests marvel at the views, the home to one of the largest collections of water birds in the country, with cranes and peafowl gracing the lawns, imagine wandering off to take advantage of some truly unique photo locations including a C18 Hermit's cave, a Doric Temple and a rustic stone bridge spanning the lake. We understand each wedding is different, with couples wanting to use their experiences, vision and individuality to create a unique celebration. Busbridge Lakes offers the flexibility of an open canvas venue with the added support of the family, the on-site team and a variety of carefully vetted wedding suppliers for you to use - all in a non-rushed environment. We only hold a few weddings receptions each year to ensure your day is not one of many. Our venue is available to hire from mid. April to the end of October only. For over 250 guests we can offer a combined venue option - please enquire. To arrange a visit please contact us.

Congratulations on your engagement, it must be a very exciting time. We are a family run venue & home to one of the largest collections of water birds in UK. To help Mum continue in her passion to the conservation of water birds, we offer the grounds as a wedding hire venue. We run the venue to our family values and we are not a ‘rush in/out’ venue. If you have any question or require more information please feel free to contact me

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Maybe, but if we had we would not be allowed to say :)

What’s your favourite canapé?

As a non fish eater, it has to be mini beef and Yorkshire puddings with horseradish for myself and for Mum it is Tempura prawns

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Mini burgers or crepes and if Mum was awake for her it would be a bacon sandwich
