Our magnificent mansion set within a 700 acre estate of Woldingham School. Approached through a serene valley designated of outstanding natural beauty, Marden Park is your own exclusive country venue for your wedding day. The stained glass chapel is available for Catholic weddings, whilst the elegant suite of rooms in the mansion are licensed for civil weddings, as well as offering the perfect setting for receptions. The gardens provide a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs. Featuring the romantic pergola walk, carved stone benches and fountain pond, it is the ideal setting for capturing your romantic wedding photos. The in-house catering team offer an elegant silver service wedding breakfast for a maximum 130 guests and 250 guests for the evening buffet.

Woldingham School is a great venue to work with. Clare and her team are really accommodating and go out of their way to help you. The venue is a great backdrop for wedding photography, and the use of different rooms means the wedding flows seamlessly. They also cater for religious weddings in their chapel and civil ceremonies in the main house.Woldingham School is a great venue to work with. The Catering Manager and her team were absolutely fantastic. They were so professional and extremely well organised. The food was lovely – thank you Chef! We loved our tasting day and the food on the day was perfect. We had an amazing day. The venue and staff were brilliant. Clare (Director of Events) was fantastic – she was extremely kind, caring and efficient. She always kept us informed and was on the end of the phone if we needed help (which was really reassuring) – thank you so much. We couldn’t have wished for a better day. The Catering Manager and her team were absolutely fantastic. They were so professional and extremely well organised. The food was lovely – thank you Chef! We loved our tasting day and the food on the day was perfect. We had an amazing day. The venue and staff were brilliant. Clare (Director of Events) was fantastic – she was extremely kind, caring and efficient. She always kept us informed and was on the end of the phone if we needed help (which was really reassuring) – thank you so much. We couldn’t have wished for a better day.

From the moment I met Clare the venue co-ordinator I knew I would be in safe hands. A huge thank you to Clare, Jane and Sue for running our wedding day so professionally and smoothly. Clare with much ease relaxed and reassured us throughout the numerous visits, from the exchange of emails to the grand entrance as husband and wife. When meeting Jane the catering manager we were positively blown away by her over accommodating advice and reassurance. We are privileged to have met an extraordinary, elegant and sophisticated team whose organisation ensured all our requirements were met. The catering scale was unbelievable. Simply superb food with mouth-watering dishes. The banqueting style of the waiting staff gives real credit to the wedding industry with extremely high quality when they served our guests. They provided an outstanding diner experience. Again thank you team for making our Special Day remarkable!!! What a beautiful venue to have our wedding. We were exceptionally happy with everything on the day. Clare (our organiser and registrar) answered all our questions even up to the last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer or more helpful person for our special day. The food and catering staff were exceptional. They were helpful before the day and on our wedding day they couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. We didn’t want to leave and were looked after so well by all the staff both before and during our wedding day. A gorgeous location and grounds.What a beautiful venue to have our wedding. We fell in love with the venue the first time we viewed it and all of our guests have been incredibly complimentary too. Marden Park’s grounds are simply stunning and the layout and size of the function rooms accommodated our large number of guests perfectly. We had lovely weather on the day but if this had not been the case we knew that our guests would still enjoy spending time inside the mansion itself. Peter (Deputy Catering Manager) and his team were friendly, attentive and very professional throughout the planning stage and on the day itself. The food was beautiful and the silver service was a nice surprise for our guests. Clare (Events Manager) was simply wonderful throughout the entire planning stage. She quickly provided answers to our (many!) questions and offered sincere advice and helpful pointers when discussing particular elements of the day with us. She was also amazing on the wedding morning itself, ensuring that everything went as planned and that we did not have to worry about anything. As the old cliché goes, you had me at “hello”, Woldingham School had us as we drove down the drive the very first time and the school came into view. We just knew. By the time Clare (Events Manager) was two minutes into the tour we were ready to pay the deposit! Clare was extremely helpful and absolutely lovely from the first day we met her and throughout the wedding journey. Jane (Catering Manager) was very helpful in the lead up to our big day and all her staff were superb on the day. All our friends and family absolutely loved the venue. A magical place which has given us wonderful memories. You can have every confidence that your wedding will be fabulous and well run at Woldingham! The mansion house and gardens are exquisite, really, and only a visit shows them in their true glory, so do visit! The flow of the house works well throughout the day and the gardens offer stunning photo opportunities and a lovely patio for your guests. Our guests didn’t tire of telling us how good the food was. The roast potatoes were truly scrumptious! The staff on the day were friendly, helpful, warm and very professional and make your day run smoothly. Unfortunately for us, we had a hiccup with our DJ who arrived late, but not before Peter (Catering Manager) had leaped into action to find us a speaker and the fantastic lady at Reception took charge of the situation and went and found our lost DJ. Another example of how the staff really do go the extra mile for you. You could say the venue is a ‘hidden’ gem in the Surrey countryside, run by the best wedding team you could hope for. We only have praise and thanks to Clare (Director of Events), Peter and all the staff at Woldingham School, who ensured we had a marvelous day. Huge thanks to all of the team! The mansion house and grounds are simply beautiful and the layout of rooms is perfect. Even though we had rain on our wedding day, it never felt cramped. The food was delicious and the staff so professional. We had some pregnant guests and the catering staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate any of their requests. It was the most perfect day.
