We are nestled on 90 acres of rustic parkland beneath the stunning Cleeve Hill, near Cheltenham. Walk through the hotel’s original 15thcentury front door and you’ll discover the stylish interiors that give a nod to the hotel’s past, whilst remaining very much in touch with modern tastes. At Ellenborough Park, we offer bespoke wedding services to each couple ensuring that no two weddings are the same. The team at Ellenborough Park make planning a wedding a joy - our wedding coordinator provided excellent support in organising every aspect in the months leading up to the big day. On the day itself we were confident that every detail had been thought of and taken care of, and that was proven when the whole event went off without a hitch, from the decorations to the coordination of suppliers to the catering. The team looked after us brilliantly and we were able to enjoy every second of our day with our guests! The team at Ellenborough Park make planning a wedding a joy - our wedding coordinator provided excellent support in organising every aspect in the months leading up to the big day. On the day itself we were confident that every detail had been thought of and taken care of, and that was proven when the whole event went off without a hitch, from the decorations to the coordination of suppliers to the catering. The team looked after us brilliantly and we were able to enjoy every second of our day with our guests!

Thank you! We honestly can’t thank you and all of the people at ellenborough for making our day run so smoothly! The whole team were amazing, from the waitresses serving in that heat all day, to the chefs and kitchen team cooking us such tasty food, which was so so good! The bar staff were great looking after us all evening, sorting me out a non alcoholic gin, very nice! All of the gentlemen helping with our bags and sorting out all of our guests needs and on reception. Everyone that spoke to us made us feel very special, took the time to ask how our day was, but no one was overwhelming and were always there when we needed them. All of our guests were so complimentary about the hotel and its team so thank you to everyone. Plus Agi serving our meal and making the whole reception seem so effortless. She was so lovely and helpful and made the evening so enjoyable with nothing for us to do or worry about. And mainly thank you so much to you Liz, you made everything so brilliant, bringing everything together for us and keeping us calm and organised on the day. Thank you! It was perfect and we've had such a wonderful experience going forward with the planning, a real highlight being the private menu tasting which was not offered at any other venue we visited. In fact most venues had multiples couples crammed into one room, so it was a real delight being shown to a private room where we went on to have the most delicious food. We also appreciate how accommodating you've been throughout this whole process and how easy you've been to get hold of. You certainly made the venue side of things delightfully straightforward. I also want to say how reasonable the package is and its obvious why Ellenborough won Gloucestershire venue of the year award recently. I would like to extend a very big and gushing thank you to Ryan who was nothing short of amazing on the day and also at our menu tasting. He was patient, helpful, kind and very efficient. Nothing was too much for him and I know it must have been a tiring day. I also want to add how polite and friendly the porters and reception team are, I didn't catch the porters name but he had remembered us from the day before and I was really touched that he asked how the wedding went. If you could pass my thanks on to the porter team and the reception team for being so friendly and hospitable whenever we came for a meeting and for the lovely note they left in our room the night of the wedding, it would be much appreciated. Lastly, I know there will be many more weddings at Ellenborough but ours was a day we'll never forget and a big part of that is down to how magical Ellenborough is as a place and how wonderful the staff are. We went and viewed 6 venues all together, from barns to manor houses. For us, Ellenborough Park stood out from the rest the minute we drove down the driveway. The building oozes elegance and class, whilst the surroundings are breathtaking. The moment we looked around and saw all the incredible original features of the building, including the beautiful chapel, we were sold. Once we had sat down with Liz, the options available were great, they really do try and accommodate you as best they can. On the day, Ryan and his team were outstanding, we had no idea they were there and they did everything they could to make our day special. We really couldn't have asked for a better venue and we'd recommenced Ellenborough Park to any couple. We went and viewed 6 venues all together, from barns to manor houses. Everything went just perfectly and thankfully we also had beautiful weather despite the storm the day before!! Megan had an absolute ball and I think she took a particular shine to you! Please pass on our compliments to the chef ... so many people commented on how nice the food was plus myself and my Mum were just so grateful for the pastry chef helping out with the cake!!Thanks for your email.
