Gosfield Hall is a stunning Georgian manor house offered exclusively to you for your wedding day. Nestled in a village location among the beautiful Essex countryside, Gosfield Hall stands proud overlooking the sparkling Gosfield Lake and nearby Gosfield golf course. Although it is located in the heart of rural Essex, it is only 30 minutes from Stansted Airport and the M11 to London so easily accessible by road, air and rail. Formerly a royal residence, the Queen Charlotte’s Oak panelled gallery with 120ft long aisle is perfect for wedding ceremonies as is the stunning Grand Salon with its ornately decorated ceiling. The licensed carriageway allows couples to enjoy an outdoor ceremony on sunny days with the striking house as their backdrop. The Marquis of Buckingham’s former ballroom provides an exquisite setting for the wedding breakfast for up to 116 guests and there are several other grand and elegant reception rooms for your guests to enjoy. As the entire house and grounds are exclusively yours you can also invite up to 250 guests for the evening wedding reception and party. There are 23 beautiful bedroom suites available to you for your wedding night, providing the perfect end to your perfect day at Gosfield Hall. The breath-taking Rococco (honeymoon) Suite has to be seen to be believed and provides a fabulous setting for those getting-ready photographs, allowing couples to finish their day in pure luxury that they will remember forever. The photograph opportunities truly are endless so creating lasting memories of your special day is easy. We had the most perfect day. The staff go above and beyond to give you a day to remember. We had 60 guests to the day and every single one of them commented on how amazing the food and service was. The venue is stunning and definitely has the wow factor. Cannot thank Gosfield Hall enough for our special day.We had the most perfect day. Amazing venue!!Amazing venue!!
Gosfield Hall was the first wedding venue that we looked at after we decided to get married...and the last! I knew as soon as we arrived that this beautiful place this was the place for us to spend our special day! We didn't look anywhere else!!! Emma showed us around and was also our co-ordinator on our wedding day. Whilst organising the wedding and also on the wedding day nothing was too much trouble for Emma....she was just amazing! The food was outstanding and such a lot to choose from. The hall itself was immaculately clean and the bedrooms were beautiful! The bridal suite was just something else! I stayed in the ladies chambers the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids...the perfect start to a perfect wedding! I only wish I could do it all again! The staff were friendly and helpful...especially Emma!! I would highly recommend Gosfield Hall for many many different reasons...it turned out to be better than we could have ever imagined! I wish we could do it again!!!I wish we could do it again!!!
Me and my partner got married here in February 2019 and had the whole day and night under this venue.i truely recommended.if i could relive it i would! We did a late availability date and it was the best thing we did..the staff were amazing.the food was excellent.our wedding manager roberta was 5 * she was brilliant with the children,nothing was too much trouble and our wedding ran perfectly. Gosfield is an amazing property and grounds.the roccoco suite is just breathtaking.we have had many feedback from guests about there beautiful rooms and food etc.the evening buffet was besutiful. Attended a wedding in February 2019. It is one of the best wedding venues I have ever attended. Gosfield Hall is an historic building set in well kept picturesque grounds. With oak panelled walls, comfortable period furniture, lofty ceilings, it is a very impressive location. We were greeted on arrival by smart staff and offered a range of welcoming drinks including cocktails followed by delicious canapés. The food for the sit down meal was superb and would have complimented a high class restaurant all served promptly by conscientious and skilled waiting staff. For those that needed accomodation, the rooms were the biggest I have ever seen, all on suite. I would highly recommend this venue.Attended a wedding in February 2019. We had the most magical day! I wanted to say a huge thank you to our incredible wedding coordinator Faye, she was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have asked for more! She even kept me calm when we had an issue with the buttonholes. Her little touches were perfect! All the other staff were fantastic, the food, the drinks, everything was exactly how we dreamed it would be! Anyone who is a Gosfield Hall couple is very lucky!We had the most magical day! I wanted to say a huge thank you to our incredible wedding coordinator Faye, she was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have asked for more! I had the fortune of photographing a wedding at Gosfield Hall, and I have nothing but praise for this beautiful venue and those who run it! Such a gorgeous location, with beautiful interiors, and wonderful staff to match. Gaynor, who was my couple’s wedding planner, went above and beyond my expectations and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She really cared about the couple, but went beyond this, in assisting me also. An absolutely wonderful place to get married, I couldn’t recommend it more and I hope to be back soon!I had the fortune of photographing a wedding at Gosfield Hall, and I have nothing but praise for this beautiful venue and those who run it! I just wanted to leave some feedback about our stay at Gosfield Hall last night at the Dinner Date Evening. Please can you pass along our upmost thanks to all of the catering and bar staff for their excellent attitude, manner and professionalism. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made our night yet another wonderful time to remember while at Gosfield Hall. Being able to stay in the Bridal Suite again after our marriage was a great treat and brought back floods of happy and joyful memories!I just wanted to leave some feedback about our stay at Gosfield Hall last night at the Dinner Date Evening. We offer exclusive use of the entire house and grounds to all couples so they are free to roam and find photos that suit their style. A favourite of mine is the fabulous Rococco Bridal Suite!

Now that would be telling! Yes, but sadly we cannot disclose the details.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Smoked salmon blini without a doubt!

A midnight raid on the candy cart!

I have genuinely never seen a Honeymoon Suite as large and elegant as the one at Gosfield Hall. YOU MUST SEE IT!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We are simply wedding experts and have not lost sight of that. We do not blurr the edges by trying to cater for other events.
