Whether you are looking for an intimate service for 10 or a formal reception for over 200, Greenwoods, a fine listed manor building, will ensure that each wedding is planned to perfection. Greenwoods' offers attentive, yet unobtrusive service, making sure that your perfect day runs flawlessly. We offer bespoke packages so they can be tailor-made to fit your needs and Brides-to-be can also host their bridal showers with us in style! Greenwoods have facilities in the manor house for up to 55 people for a civil marriage or partnership ceremony and up to 46 people for a sit down meal. For a less formal reception or for an evening reception, 120 people standing can be catered for. For larger events our exclusive Garden Suite can be made available in the stunning gardens catering for over 200 seated guests and 300 evening guests. Enquire now to come and see for yourself! We had the most fabulous day here. The wedding coordinator Shannen ensured the day ran perfectly. We used their recommended suppliers, all brilliant. The food was superb. We at Reflection Photo Booths we have worked closely with the team at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa over the past 2 years who are all incredibly, professional and efficient. With the addition of the amazing garden suite makes Greenwoods the one of the most sort after venues. I've been to virtually every venue in the South East - Greenwoods is exceptionalI've been to virtually every venue in the South East - Greenwoods is exceptional
As a wedding musician and DJ I've first hand experience of virtually every venue in the South East of England. Therefore I've seen first hand how venues can differ in terms of overall feel, facilities, standards and staff. I have to say Greenwoods is exceptional and there's always a happy vibe about the place which makes me feel very welcome. I always think, if they look after me as well as they do (as a supplier), then the guest experience must be exceptional. I've seen Greenwoods cater for 250 guests taking it all in their stride. Equally I've seen them host much smaller intimate parties for 30-40 guests. Regardless of size, each function has the same level of care and attention to detail so everything runs flawlessly making the guests feel special. Since changing hands a couple of years ago the new owners and staff have really put Greenwoods on the map as the place to get married (not just for Essex couples as it attracts couples from everywhere). It's easy to see that everyone cares and takes pride both in the venue itself and their roles there. You have to visit as it really has the best of both worlds. Beautifully manicured stripy lawns in established gardens with a snug/cosy feel to the public bar. Then open fires as you go through to the library and boardrooms. This makes Greenwoods ideal for smaller or intimate weddings looking for something more traditional. For larger weddings there's the new purpose built Garden Suite. This building has incredible mood lighting and built in disco lighting so everything can match your own colour scheme - seriously they've thought of everything! I'm proud to be associated with Greenwoods. If you can't decide on a wedding venue just go and have a look - you'll sell it to yourself. Greenwood's makes the perfect setting for any couple planning their big day, they have a beautiful pavilion set among manicured gardens (which makes a stunning outdoor rustic style ceremony), they also have the option of the garden suite too, newly built & very elegant, covering all seasons, whatever the weather! They really do cater for all weddings & I've always been impressed with how well run & communicated the planners are, working as a photographer at this venue is a pleasure when you're surrounded by a wedding dream team. Added to that, great food & an awesome spa! (I highly recommend their full body massages!). I have worked with Greenwoods for a number of years as a recommended supplier and it's always been a pleasure. The recent renovations and upgrade to the venue are fantastic and take it to another level for weddings and events. We just love working here! The grounds are awesome (so much space, variety and greenery)! The new Garden Room is stunning (so much light, and those arches - love)! And the food! Now I love my food, but the food at Greenwoods is top notch! Would definitely recommend to any of my couples considering a venue to get married in.We just love working here! I had the honour to photograph my first wedding here at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa this past September. What can I say? Greenwoods Hotel is a photographers dream, the grounds are breathtaking and the garden suite is the perfect location for your wedding breakfast and reception. All the staff were great and they were a joy to work with!! To any bride and groom that are looking at wedding venues in Essex then I'd highly recommend Greenwoods Hotel & Spa to give you your perfect wedding day. Faultless!Faultless!
It was faultless from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Great rooms, more than pleasant staff (who bent backwards to accommodate the six of us plus two children under 5 ) the wedding, the wedding reception, the food and then the great breakfast in the morning I would highly recommend this place !
