Great wedding, but venue didn’t live up to standardGreat wedding, but venue didn’t live up to standard
My wedding was a lovely day and I enjoyed every minute, but only because I told myself I wouldn’t let anything bother me. The original wedding planner left part way through my planning process and nobody let me know. I was then met with a nice lady who took her place, but lots of information wasn’t passed over from one planner to the next, they did however do everything to try and sort all the issues. Unfortunately on the actual day the wedding planner wasn’t actually at work and so there was lots of things that were not as I had planned, for example the table setting!! Also the food, which had always been incredible when I had eaten there previously, was pretty standard and not what you’d expect from a 5 star establishment. You were also not allowed to use any dj other than their in house dj, who was essentially just a guy with Spotify on his laptop, he didn’t interact with the crowd or even pay much attention to my list of songs that I had requested. There was some exceptional staff on the day though, that made up for the short falls, mostly.
