With its extraordinary setting, bohemian history and relaxed and informal atmosphere, Hilles House offers a unique wedding venue with breathtaking views. It is available from May to September each year, we are are dedicated to helping you create a truly bespoke and memorable experience. We have a licence to host civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests in the Great Hall within the main house, while the custom-built Palace Yurt provides space for up to 250 reception guests. You have exclusive use of the grounds, Civil ceremony room, and the Palace Wedding Yurt.

We consider Hilles House to be a very special place and one of the main differences is we do not consider us to be a "wedding factory" we have just one wedding a weekend and you can take your time to set up-making it a lovely time to work together as a family. We’re just about coming down off our incredible high from the wedding. Everyone, absolutely everyone, enjoyed it immensely, and the compliments we’ve had about the yurt and the setting are universally effusive. We had our wedding at Hilles House on Saturday 11th May and it was more than we ever could have hoped for. I remember my Dad driving me down the long driveway in an old landrover through all of the wild garlic and seeing our guests making their way to the outdoor ceremony overlooking five counties. We had drinks on the terrace in the sunshine, a delicious meal by Cotswold Cooks in the Palace Yurt and watched the incredible sunset before an amazing party. We saw lots of venues and so many felt like a 'package' or 'factory wedding'. Hilles gave us the flexibility to be creative and design the day we wanted. Emma was brilliant and we actually really enjoyed the day before decorating with all of our bridal party. We spent the evening before the wedding in the local village pub The Royal Oak which is lovely. I would really recommend our suppliers as well, our incredible photographer Amy-Rose Photography, Cotswold Cooks and the Enchanted Florist. Alex and I wanted to just send an email to say a (belated) but huge thank you. Hilles is such an exceptional venue - we are still hearing incredible feedback from our guests, who couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Not only was Hilles amazing - but so were you! You were totally on top of everything and remained incredibly chilled and easy-going both in the run-up to the wedding and afterwards. Magical Magical
We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding at Hilles last summer. What a beautiful, magical and inspiring house. It was the perfect combination of grandeur and eccentricity, energy and colour. Every room both has and IS is its own piece of art. The hall was the perfect size for 100 guests and yet still felt intimate and personal for the ceremony. With views unfolding over five counties and endless outside space and secret corners to get creative with ; Detmar and the team at Hilles were welcoming and on hand to help us sculpt our wedding into something truly extraordinary.We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding at Hilles last summer. WOW! Hilles House is a truly magical venue. It was love at first sight for us, we just knew it was going to be the perfect place for us to get married. Not only is the view absolutely breathtaking, the house itself is a work of art. Demar and Lucie are the perfect hosts making the planning of are wedding completely hassle free.
