Description

Originally built in 1735, the Kingston Estate is breathtakingly stylish; featuring a marquetry staircase, library, bars, courtyard, hot tub, a rose garden, walled garden and 18th century parterre garden, you’ll find spaces you’ll love at every turn. What’s more, it is available for exclusive use hire meaning it can become your own private estate for the entirety of your wedding. To make sure your day runs like clockwork, the Kingston Estate will assign you with your own personal wedding planner and team to bring your wedding vision to life, leaving you with plenty of time to spend with your friends and family. Thanks to a number of licensed ceremony areas you can chose to marry in the grand Marble Hall, the snug and cosy Drawing Room, the Walled Garden, the Rose Garden, the Linhay Barn, and for a real statement, the sweeping staircase of the Manor House. The Estate’s in-house bar manager can create your very own drinks package for your wedding day; from champagne to aperitifs, they can even create a bespoke wedding cocktail specially for your day. Our well respected creative catering team specialise in local, seasonal produce. They can provide anything and everything from pre-wedding street style food to get the weekend started, breakfast stations to absorb any headaches, delectable canapes to keep any hunger at bay, to the main meal itself with formal plated meals, or table feasts. The choice is yours and everything is tailored to you, there are no set menus here. When the dinner and speeches are over, you and your guests can head down to the Undercroft, our secret boutique nightclub for the party to end all parties!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We like all weddings to be completely bespoke to each couple, so in all honesty it's hard to pick a favourite wedding, but there are definitely a few each year that stand out. For example L&H had a beautiful wedding weekend in September 2019, and worked hard to ensure that H's Iranian heritage was included in all aspects of the wedding, sadly it rained all weekend but that didn't stop them all from embracing the weather, they even braved the rain for a ceremonial Iranian sword dance in the courtyard!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Please remember that its your wedding weekend so you can do whatever you like and you don't have to conform to wedding traditions if you don't want to!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

From personalised tambourines, wedding Gin favours, luggage tags, and temporary tattoos we've nearly seen it all, but there's always room for new ideas!

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Exclusive - Stylish - Extraordinary - Timeless - Unique

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

There are so many to choose from it's hard to pick our favourite, but you can't beat the confetti shot on the South Garden steps, and walking through the Partiere Gardens towards the house.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We believe all guests are just as important each other, and like to think we treat everyone as a celebrity but we have been fortunate to host, Amanda Holden, the cast of Gavin & Stacey & Made in Chelsea, and most recently some very famous cricketers!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Seared fillet of beef on toasted sourdough with white truffle vinaigrette, lemon & rocket cress

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Shwarma - Chicken or Roasted cauliflower with tahini and caramelised onion wrapped in homemade flatbread

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our secret boutique nightclub located in the Undercroft

What part of your business are you most proud of?

That we are always working hard to improve areas, and add more. The wedding industry and trends are always changing so it's important to recognise there is always room for improvement!
