Lower Damgate Farm Weddings and Cottages

We are a slightly quirky venue and every wedding is different, we have put the infrastructure together and it’s your imagination that makes it special & unique to you, which means that our weddings are very much a "Do It Yourself" event, including sourcing your own music and caterers etc Planning your own wedding is not an easy option but it is rewarding and amazing. Because we only do a few weddings a year and it is over three days (possibly four!) we get to know our couples well, and you never feel as if you are on a conveyor belt! Our ethos is to create something that we would want for ourselves and for you to go away with amazing and wonderful memories and hopefully come back to visit again it the future. The onsite cottages are part of the package sleeping 28 guests, where we offer you a relaxed three night experience rather than just a day. We find that this gives you special time to spend with those you've chosen to be with on site with you. Feedback from guests say this "is amazing quality time" We also have garden areas, mown paddocks, 20 acres of fields and hay meadows that you can use with the wedding barn. Dovedale Barn is very different from a usual "farm barn", it has a high vault ceiling clad in wood and strung with twinkly fairy lights, this gives the barn its wow factor and creates the atmosphere for a completely different wedding day! There is also a Garden Room and washroom facilities. The views from the farm and across to Hall Dale (where you can walk to the Rive Dove) are amazing from the barn, and sunsets spectacular!
