Our stunning 'Crystal Room', complete with chandeliers, one of the South West's largest wooden dance floors, stage area for entertainment and views across the gardens is a wonderfully romantic setting where you can enjoy the wedding of your dreams. The Crystal Room is licenced for ceremonies as is our beautiful Rose Arbour in the gardens. The 'Mayflower' has its own entrance and attractive vaulted ceiling, while the 'Tavistock' is perfect for couples wanting a minimal guest list of between 2 to 40 providing a varied selection of ceremony spaces. Whichever room you decide on, our picturesque moorland gardens, wonderful Wildflower Meadow and direct access to the moors provide the perfect backdrop for those all important wedding photographs. We have several Wedding Packages for you to choose from, but we are also more than happy to create a bespoke package especially for you. Our Restaurant has received a Rosette for the quality of food and service and our Hotel has been accredited 4 stars by the AA. Karen and I work tirelessly to make sure that your wishes are exceeded in all areas. Our planning is meticulous and incredibly detailed to help make the planning process as straight forward for you as possible and to ensure that when your day arrives you can relax and know that everything will happen as you wish it to. We were over the moon with this venue as they went that extra mile to make our big day so so special, and nothing was to much trouble. Before the ceremony I was a bag of nerves but robin made me feel a whole lot better and calmed my nerves. The crystal room was laid out amazing And we was overwhelmed with all the hard work the staff put in through out the day. Our day went perfect and ticked all the boxes and more and this was all down to the amazing staff I wish I could repeat our wedding againWe were over the moon with this venue as they went that extra mile to make our big day so so special, and nothing was to much trouble. Our wedding was exactly as I'd hoped for, only better. Laura was efficient and clearly very experienced in helping us to organise our day; she didn't dictate at all but was ready with ideas if we got stuck. The Moorland Garden as a wedding venue really is all about 'the little things' which gives a sense of ease on the day. Lee was a big contributer as master of ceremonies; he is a perfectionist to the very end and for a bride this is the highest compliment I can pay him and the wonderful hotel.Our wedding was exactly as I'd hoped for, only better. I think it lacked that extra touch, eg no champagne in the bridal suite. The menu served varied slightly in quality and presentation from taster. Nothing was to much trouble...Nothing was to much trouble...
Nothing was to much trouble! We wanted a very chilled wedding as we'd both been married before, they completely got that and looked after everything perfectly, we also wanted a late afternoon wedding and they were the only venue that would accommodate! Food was excellent and service spot on. We stayed the night and the honeymoon suite was superb!Nothing was to much trouble! Nothing was too much trouble for the Moorland Garden. From booking through to the wedding day everything was mapped out clearly for us and plenty of time allowed to organise each stage. We were always treated like VIPs when we visited the hotel and this rippled out to the family and guests who attended on the day and stayed over at the hotel. It felt like our very own hotel and personal staff. The team are very experienced with weddings and this expertise and confidence shows.Nothing was too much trouble for the Moorland Garden.
