Oxleaze Barn is situated on a farm in the beautiful Cotswold countryside and has been sympathetically renovated, with exposed beams and stonework disguising the addition of state of the art technology, stunning lighting and underfloor heating as well as kitchen and bathroom facilities. Oxleaze barn comprises of The Barn and the adjoining Milling Barn. if the weather allows, outdoor ceremonies can take place on our courtyard or the paddock. If it's a rainy day, the ceremony and wedding breakfast take place in the main barn, the open fire can be lit if it's chilly. The Milling Barn is available for the drinks reception and dancing. The Barns open onto stunning landscaped courtyards and firepit, with a wide garden gate available for late night street food vans. The underfloor heating, big open fire and fire pit keep guests warm for cool evenings. Oxleaze Barn endeavours to be a wedding venue without being a wedding venue! We strive for simplicity and flexibility, our aim is to offer a beautiful venue with all the necessary basics for your wedding - fully equipped kitchen, cloakroom and loos, chairs and tables, firepit and logs. However the decorations are up to the client to decide thus allowing them the freedom to create a day that reflects them rather than producing a package that is repeated every weekend. The client can choose from our handpicked selection of caterers or alternatively go off list. The bar is managed by The Watering Hole who can offer a number of packages to suit specific requirements. Oxleaze Barn is run by a family team who all pull together to make sure each wedding day is as special as the last. We only have 1 wedding a weekend in order to give each client the attention they require to get everything just right. Clients have access to the venue the day before to set up and decorate so that they can focus on one another on the wedding day! Week day weddings are also possible.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Me and hubby fell in love as soon as we saw Oxleaze and didn't hesitate to book it for our big day. It was the perfect size for our intimate wedding of just over 50 guests and with some having young children it was safe and very enjoyable for them too. Katherine and her team were amazing from the moment of booking until the end of the actual day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I was highly recommend Oxleaze to anyone looking for their perfect venue.We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Me and hubby fell in love as soon as we saw Oxleaze and didn't hesitate to book it for our big day. It was the perfect size for our intimate wedding of just over 50 guests and with some having young children it was safe and very enjoyable for them too. We had the most spectacular day, we fell in love with the venue in Feb 2018 and married July 2019, it was everything we wanted. All the way through the process the staff at Oxleaze barn were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Katherine helped us on the day to make sure the day ran smoothly and was incredibly lovely and just made our day. We loved our day and would 1000% recommend this venue to everyone We had the most spectacular day, we fell in love with the venue in Feb 2018 and married July 2019, it was everything we wanted. Oxleaze was an incredible venue for for our reception; the size and layout was perfect for our 100 guests and the children loved playing in the gardens. The barn itself is so beautiful we only used bunting and flower vases which saved lots of money on decorations! The team are so helpful and having Kath there's on the day meant we had no worries about anything and it ran like clockwork. Great location with lots of local hotels in Burford. Perfecto venue! P.SA random point but the toilets are lovely! Oxleaze was an incredible venue for for our reception; the size and layout was perfect for our 100 guests and the children loved playing in the gardens. We held our entire wedding (ceremony and reception) at Oxleaze Barn in July 2018. In our 50's... Determined not to make an 'industry' out of wedding planning it was the only venue we viewed and we knew it was perfect from the start. The barn is light and airy but cool so our guests were comfortable in the summer heat. The space is flexible so weddings can be held in or outside - on our day the weather was changable but Katherine was so helpful and flexible about waiting to the very last minute to put the chairs out so we could get married outside as she knew how much we wanted to. The enclosed grounds are perfect for drinks, children's games & we had a fish & chip van in the evening that went down a storm. The marsh mallows toasting on the firepit was also a hit. The addition of the milling barn was perfect for evening dancing, with space in the main barn for people to sit down.and have some quiet time if they chose to. We didn't do much decorating as the barn is beautiful as it is. We just had bunting and fresh flowers and the simple. Shabby chic look worked brilliantly. The staff at the watering hole did a great job and were efficient and professional along with being friendly to all our guests. The flexibility of using any outside caterer was also a benefit. Being able to stay at the Stable cottage was so lovely and convenient - it really was the icing on the cake. So if you are looking for a fexible, beautiful space in the Cotswolds to get married in, with a team who are invested in.doing everything they can to ensure your day is perfect I would highly recommend Oxleaze Barn. We absolutely loved Oxleaze Barn, it was the first and last venue we looked at! We knew as soon as we walked in that this was the place for us, also with Katie, Kath and Hannah being so helpful it made the planning a breeze, we really can't thank you enough for everything, Oxleaze Barn will forever hold a special place in our hearts! Get onto Instagram and follow them as they post the most beautiful photos of all the weddings they hold, the best bit is that Oxleaze is a gorgeous blank canvas so every couple can put their own stamp on it, making the most amazing wedding. The gardens to the rear of the venue are gorgeous and make wonderful photos, everything about this place screams Cotswolds and its perfect. I just wanted to say a big thank you from me and Joe (or should I say, my husband and I!) for such an amazing wedding. We really appreciate all of the extra help on the day that made sure that it ran so smoothly. We would defintely recommend you as a venue, and had many compliments on such a beautiful setting. Who knows, maybe we will be back for our 10 year anniversary! I just wanted to say a big thank you from me and Joe (or should I say, my husband and I!) for such an amazing wedding. We wanted to drop you an e-mail to say a big, huge, massive THANK YOU for enabling and helping us have the best day of our lives on Saturday. Kath - you were an absolute super star, you made it a lot less stressful for us than it could have been and the day ran absolutely flawlessly (as far as we were aware!) which we cannot thank you enough for. We left a bottle of wine with Richard for you, so hopefully he's passed it on to you! Honestly, we would not have enjoyed the day as much if it wasn't for you. Hannah - we also want to thank you for answering all of our questions and helping us in all of the planning and organisation running up to the wedding. You were super responsive and helpful, which again has made the whole process far less stressful than it could have been. The barn looked absolutely beautiful, and we love that we were offered the flexibility to turn the barn into our ideal wedding setting. One of the main reasons we picked Oxleaze was that it did not feel like a 'cookie cutter' wedding venue. You allow couples to make the venue their own, and inject a level of personalisation that other venues do not - so thank you for that, as it was really important to Alex & I.
