It was perfectIt was perfect
We celebrated our wedding at The Rayleigh windmill last Friday and it was perfect. Although the capacity is only 20 people this was perfect for us as we only wanted to invite a small group of people and all of our guests commented on the fact that they could all see and hear everything during the ceremony which made it feel really intimate. We had flowers from Lifelike in Rayleigh Lanes who made the windmill look beautiful. Small wedding in an unique buildingSmall wedding in an unique building
Being a Rayleigh couple and having always admired the Windmill when we decided to tie the knot this was an obvious venue. The venue did have his challenges as max seating is 20 but we did manage. My dealings with regard bookings were with Sophie from the Council who was helpful, understanding and friendly on all occasions when we spoke I would certainly recommend the windmill as a setting for a small wedding in an unique building. This iconic building has made a great back drop to our photos - as have the lovely sensory gardens.Being a Rayleigh couple and having always admired the Windmill when we decided to tie the knot this was an obvious venue. The room was arranged perfectly and exactly as I requested. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony and commented on what a beautiful and perfect venue it was. Although quite small, we had 20 guests at our wedding, the windmill has such great charm and atmosphere this is a very intimate, beautiful and unique venue for your wedding. In August 2014 we were married at the Rayleigh Windmill. A great venue if you are looking for a small service as only holds 20 guests. From paying the deposit to the day of the service the staff we had contact with were excellent.
