At Roulotte Retreat we host small weddings and elopements, where each Ceremony is completely different and incredibly creative. Like the ‘Genie of the Lamp' we ask the couple for their ‘wish list for their Special Day’ and work with them to achieve and shape the wedding day of their dreams. The vibe of Roulotte Retreat is intimate, natural and bohemian with a backdrop of French Gypsy Roulottes adding colour to the already flamboyant wildflower meadow in the Scottish Borders. Guests can enjoy their own roulotte accommodation as well as gathering together either on the outdoor deck amidst Scots pine trees or around the wood burning stove in the eclectic Studio. The couple can then escape for their honeymoon across the meadow to their very own secret eco hot tub to bathe under the dark skies and perhaps enjoy a shooting star or more - what could be more magical?

Creating our Vision of a circle of French Gypsy Caravans around a lochan in our wildflower meadow to entice those who wish to escape the busy-ness of life! We are honoured that we have guests who continue to visit us several times a year and have done for the last 10 years!
