St Elizabeth's beautifully landscaped gardens and sweeping lawns offers the perfect backdrop for memorable pictures and a casual setting for a pre-dinner wedding reception. St Elizabeth’s House is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships. Our beautiful Beatrice Room, with crystal chandelier and stained glass windows will be the perfect backdrop to say “I do”. When the sun is shining, you have the option of using our beautiful lawn, where you can exchange vows under our elegant veranda. From the moment you enter our dining room, you will be welcomed by our experienced team. Our dining room embraces a warm and friendly atmosphere with a touch of charm, inside you will nd a relaxed ambience full of style combined with a smart interior. Together with our head chef we have created a top class menu, however we are always happy to customise this menu if you prefer. All dishes are made using only the freshest local seafood, locally reared meat and game, with fresh fruit and vegetables in their seasonal prime.

Where do we start... Wow we had our wedding here last night and I really could it be better. Beautiful place and wow staff are so amazing and nothing is to much at all. The best wedding venue in Plymouth The best wedding venue in Plymouth
We started seriously looking for wedding venues in Jan 18. Upon walking into St Elizabeths, we fell in love. Besides the stunning grounds, house and decor, there was such a warm, welcoming feeling that wrapped you up. Could not recommend the entire wedding team more, they made are entire day run without a hitch and we will remember it for years to come We started seriously looking for wedding venues in Jan 18. Above and beyond to make our wedding so specialAbove and beyond to make our wedding so special
We had our wedding here in December 2017 and it was more magical and perfect than we could have imagined. Elena was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked any more of her. Over the 18 months of planning she was only a call or email away and always so helpful and happy to help (even with the daftest questions). She took complete control on the day and was a massive help with our 2 small children. Im a real perfectionist and hate not being in control but she really did go above and beyond to make our wedding so special and made us both feel relaxed and able to enjoy every aspect of the day. I really can’t fault anything and would highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a wedding venue to chose st Elizabeth’s. A perfect dayA perfect day
Last year my wife and I got married at St Elizabeth's House and it was the most amazing perfect day! Sarah and the rest of the staff were so helpful and attentive and even put up with my crazy idea to have a string quartet for the ceremony and a 5-piece band for the evening (despite the amount of room our guests would take up). The food and service was incredible and all of our guests were impressed, they dealt with special dietary requirements with no fuss and everybody commented on how tasty the wedding breakfast was. The ceremony in the Beatrice room was beautiful and intimate, and the stunning surroundings made for a lovely day. The one thing that the team couldn't control was the weather but we managed to have both photos outside in the beautiful grounds and they rearranged the interior layout so that we could have amazing photos inside as well. The St Elizabeth suite (bridal suite) was incredible with the most comfortable bed and a giant sunken jacuzzi which even the most exhausted and partied-out newlyweds have to try out! Overall we cannot say enough nice things about St Elizabeth's House, they made our day perfect for us and we can't wait to go back!Last year my wife and I got married at St Elizabeth's House and it was the most amazing perfect day! Our wedding day was perfect!!Our wedding day was perfect!!
We looked at lots of wedding venues but when we looked at St Elizabeth we just knew that’s where we wanted to get married!! The staff, the feel of the place was just perfect!! Couldn’t do enough for us! And made things less stressful as possible!! The rooms and FOOD!!!!! Beautiful 👌🏻our wedding day was perfect!! Thank you St Elizabeth!! From organising our finer details to the day itself Kris and I couldn’t thank St Elizabeth's enough for there hard work. We would like to say a special thank you to Sarah our wedding coordinator that helped us with the whole thing and was there for us throughout the whole day. Even managing to accommodate an extra guest at the wedding breakfast on the day. Lastly Thank you to the chef and all the waiting staff who were so accommodating and the food was amazing!! our guests could not stop saying how delicious the food was.From organising our finer details to the day itself Kris and I couldn’t thank St Elizabeth's enough for there hard work. Food excellent and well presented.Staff friendly and very attentive.The whole house is immaculate and rooms spotless.This will have been our 3rd visit and this last for son’s wedding and we were all felt happy and relaxed with the service we experienced.Thankyou so much.We’ll be back. A memorable weddingA memorable wedding
I would just like to say thank you to all the staff who looked after, and worked so hard on 22/11/19 to make my mothers wedding a memorable one. everything went to plan and as far as I could see there were no hiccups. the food was out of this world. so tasty. thank you again for all your hard work. my mother and new step dad truly had the best day. I can recommend St Elizabeth house for weddings, parties and of course dinner. Their staff are a credit to them. My wife and I had our Wedding Reception here when we got married in September last year (2016). From the minute we made our initial enquiries to leaving on the Sunday we knew we had made the right choice of venue. We booked out all of the rooms for the Friday and Saturday nights so that our guests could make a weekend of it. We had a private dining room for a pre-wedding dinner on the Friday night, and then our wedding reception on the Saturday afternoon/evening. The food, service and hosting throughout was impeccable, no request was too large and no detail was overlooked. Throughout the whole planning process, through to the day itself, Elena and Sarah (as well as the whole team at St. Elizabeth's House) couldn't have been more accommodating, thoughtful and helpful, they really did make our day perfect and special.
