Description
We offer couples the opportunity to plan their own weddings as unique as they are. We have different hire options from a full day with your ceremony, reception and evening party to 'Twilight' weddings which involved a later wedding (4pm) and into an evening party. We have different catering choices from fine dining to BBQs and Wood Fired Pizza! The bar also has lots of options. Inside the Lodge the floor to ceiling windows provide lots of natural light, the room changes from day to evening by a curtain running across, meaning no room turn rounds, we keep things relaxed and create a great party atmosphere for the evening celebrations. The private terrace and gardens offer a perfect place for a summer drinks reception or evening cocktail hour and the hidden lake area is perfect for couple portraits. We loved that the venue was a blank canvas for us to style how we wanted and the team at Styal Lodge were always quick to repsond to any questions we had. Getting ready in the bridal room was amazing! It was so much bigger than I had remembered it being and even our hair and make up teams were impressed with the space and lighting that it offered. It rained pretty much all day on our wedding day itself, but it honestly didn't matter. The team hosted our reception drinks inside instead and to be honest it made it all the more intimate and personal. I honestly can't thank all of the team enough for giving us the perfect day. Aka the hottest day ever ☀️ We wanted somewhere that was a blank canvas for us to put our own stamp on and boy did we get it! I was initially worried about there being no on-site accommodation but it wasn't a worry, most of us stayed around the corner at the Stanneylands. Everyone from Styal was on the end of an email whenever we needed anything and the whole day flowed so smoothly, we couldn't have wished for anything better. Absolute pros at this wedding thing 😁 we were incredibly lucky with the weather as people could sit outside and our dog could join us for some photos! I could sit and gush about Styal Lodge for days, thank you so so much again. Lots of love, Mr and Mrs Monaghan 27.07.18Where to begin?! From the minute we walked into Styal Lodge we knew this was going to be our wedding venue - it has such a lovely feel to it and the grounds are beautiful for photographs. From start to finish, the team were amazing - always quick to respond to emails, incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, Georgie and the team put us at ease and the day flowed seamlessly. Styal Lodge have great connections with lots of suppliers and provide a list which really helped us when choosing our photographer, florist and venue dresser. We had lots of pre-wedding meetings with Georgie which really helped to finalise details and timings and also offer wine tasting too. The bridal room is amazing and something that we found a lot of venues didn’t have. It was lovely to have somewhere for the bridesmaids and MOB to get ready together and it was so exciting hearing all the guests arrive. Poppy was so accomodating and always on the other end of an email in the planning stage of the wedding, she was always able to reassure us and answer everything we needed. The venue itself is fantastic, it has it all, including an amazing bridal suite. We had great weather and were able to make use of the beautiful gardens all day and into the late evening. The lodge has a great flow with everything being in one room meaning everyone is involved in every aspect. We turned our day into a outdoors indoors theme and it was the day we always dreamed of. The staff at the lodge went above and beyond to ensure everything was planned to perfection. The special days the lodge plans for everyone before your day is a lovely personal touch with the bridesmaid lunch and wine tasting evening. Our guests travelled a long way and still now go on about the lodge and our day. The ability to have pictures in such a wide variety of places including the lake was great as well. We 1st visited the lodge in December 2016 & didn’t need to look any further - the venue was beautiful, the people were unbelievably friendly, helpful & professional & the place had a truly magical feel. The lodge team were there to answer any questions during the wedding build up & we enjoyed many an open day, bridesmaid brunch & food tasting evening with pink pepper. On the day, the venue looked beautiful thanks to Emma & Jill & the large bridal prep room allowed the girls to have a relaxed pamper morning (& the grandparents to escape the noise later in the evening), whilst the boys made use of the golf course! Everything ran smoothly thanks to the team & all the guests commented on the gorgeous venue. We couldn’t recommend Styal lodge more highly - especially for a sparkly winter wedding ⭐️ Thank you Georgie, Poppy, Fran, Sarah & Lexie, love Mr & Mrs Whish xxxWhat a wonderful venue! Not only was the venue beautiful (as always!), but the whole day ran so smoothly, and we were able to enjoy the day, and not worry about any of the organisation.
