Description
The Barns at Lodge Farm is the perfect rural oasis just a stone's throw from the big city, hidden in amongst the arable land that has been worked by the Graham family for nearly 100 years. This summer the farm will be officially opening its doors as a new exclusive use venue, offering couples complete flexibility to use each space within the venue exactly as they wish. Choose from The Granary (a traditional timber-frame barn), The Grain Store (an epic more modern barn ideal for dancing the night away), The Yard (perfect for drinks receptions) and The Field (ideal for marquees/tipis/glamping). The Granary is licenced to hold civil wedding ceremonies, and an exciting programme of renovation work planned for the next few years will make these barns even more stunning than the beautiful blank canvas they already are.
We are currently taking bookings from June until October each year, and because we only host one wedding each weekend and one during the week, we get booked up very quickly - so do pop us a message to avoid disappointment! We are currently fully booked on all weekends from June to the end of September 2019 but still have availability in October, and are also offering weekday weddings at a significantly reduced rate - please do get in touch to find out more, we'd love to hear from you!

Hello! My name is Bryony and I am the Venue Manager here at Lodge Farm. Our family have lived and worked here at Lodge Farm for nearly 100 years, and we'd love to welcome you here. I absolutely love the barns and the surrounding countryside, so much so that I got married here myself! We have a single, simple hire fee which includes exclusive use of the entire venue from midday the day before your wedding until midday the day afterwards. You have complete flexibility to bring in whichever caterers you'd like, so that you can choose a menu to suit your style and budget. From 2019 onwards this hire fee also includes use of our fully staffed bar - please contact us for drinks packages and pricing.

- MMr & Mrs Willard07/10/2019Can we do it again please?! Can we do it again please?!If you could repeat days, we would pick our wedding...what an incredible day it was. From the moment we walked onto Lodge Farm we knew it was the venue for us, and the lovely Bryony made us feel that way even more so. She may well be one of the loveliest people we have ever met. She has so much passion and enthusiasm for the Barns and each couple she meets, and the wonderful team she has around her are just the same. We had a clear vision in our heads of how we wanted the Barns to look for our wedding, and Bryony and her team made that happen. They shared our excitement, and were so proud to be part of making our vision a reality, something that meant so much. Nothing was too much trouble, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for our day to go any better. We trusted them all explicitly, they made sure everything ran as it should, and because of that we got to soak up and enjoy every second of the day and night. The bar staff even got on board with our subtle Marvel theme we had going and dressed up....the best surprise!!! Bryony, her team, and the wonderful Barns are truly something special. We will cherish our wedding day, and all of the time spent with them, forever. We will never be able to put into words how grateful we are to have been able to create such incredible memories, made even more so by having the love and support from Bryony and her amazing team. Perfect Day!We got married at Lodge Farm earlier this month and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue and the team. Bryony really helped us to craft our perfect day, and the whole team were so accommodating of all our requests and requirements. We had a festival-style wedding with Tipis, firepits, rows of huge silk flags. Our own mini-Glastonbury! Lodge Farm was the perfect location with its stunning field overlooking the rolling hills of the Essex countryside. Can't recommend highly enough!We got married at Lodge Farm earlier this month and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue and the team. After seeing quite a few venues, we fell in love with the barns and Bryony straight away! Such a unique venue that lets you create you own style and Bryony is so helpful and enthusiastic, she made everything seem easy. Our day couldn't have been better with amazing weather and the venue team making sure everything went smoothly. All the venue staff went the extra mile and the bar staff made our guests feel very welcome. We had outside caterers, games on the field and a camping village all smoothly organized and set up. Her enthusiasm, warmth and positive energy, framed her beautiful farm in all its glory, I’m certain we viewed in it winter but it felt like a summers day. This venue is to die for, if you want to get married in a field or have a festival themed wedding there’s no greater landscape or better venue. We managed to fit 22 bell tents, a chill area, dance tent, as well as a complete fairground and still had bundles of space. We married in one of the barns that comfortably fitted our 150 guests all seated. Then had a sit-down meal, in the largest of the barns. With oodles of space to spare. Our guest made use of her VIP BAR and 5-star toilets. Which many people were posting selfies on insta with! No bad for a barn eh! We loved the venue not just because of the outside facilities but also that if it rained we had a great back up plan. But most of all because Bryony was just magic. The venue itself is so unique and special and we really appreciated the freedom that we had to be able to set everything up exactly as we wanted it. We were able to choose everything, from decorations to food, to ensure the day was very personal to us. As well as the farm being a truly beautiful setting, what made this whole experience so much more special for us was Bryony and the team. She is passionate and thoughtful and went above and beyond from day one to make sure we had our absolute dream wedding! We really could not have been happier with our wedding at Lodge Farm. The venue itself is so unique and special and we really appreciated the freedom that we had to be able to set everything up exactly as we wanted it. Dan and I could not believe it when we arrived, it was what we had wanted to find but had struggled to.. A beautiful characteristic blank canvas. After we met Bryony, the Venue Manager - that's it - we were in love! We then set a date and were off. The team at Lodge Farm were so helpful right from the beginning, even till now 4 months after our wedding. What you get here is a personalised service, and you really can make it into what you want. This is the perfect space for couples who want something more than a 3 course and a golf course. We literally couldn't have asked for a better service or kinder manager to help us achieve what we wanted: A chilled day with the people we love. Bryony and her team were amazing from start to finish.
