Set in a tranquil and stunning location on the banks of the River Trent, The Priest House’s history is a rich one that can be traced back almost 1,000 years. Built around a mill tower with its very own water wheels, this 42 bedroom hotel is perfectly placed for a romantic, picture perfect wedding. Come and visit our wedding team to see how we can help you plan the wedding of your dreams, offering small intimate weddings to large receptions from a range of packages to bespoke quotations for something a little more casual. Currently building an outdoor space to allow for outdoor ceremonies also - coming soon Summer 2020!

The best day of our lives.The best day of our lives.
We booked the Priest House for our wedding on November 3rd 2018 and lfrom start to finish, we have had no issues whatsoever. We booked the venue around a year in advance and throughout the whole planning process, the members of staff have been attentive and helpful, prompting us when any deadlines came up and helping in terms of what needs to be planned when. The venue itself was a beautiful site by a river. The rooms that we booked for the night prior and of were of an outstanding quality and the food for the wedding itself was amazing. The wedding planner and the runner for the day were life savers, and every member of staff, from the waiters, to the barmen and the receptionist, were very personable and made the whole process a lot easier for us. All in all i do not have one bad word i can say about both the venue and it's workers. From start to finish the Priest House offered an amazing service and made it so easy to plan the day. Nothing was too much trouble and the flexibility was impressive... Especially switching between rooms and planning a Halloween themed party for the evening, the hotel staff took my decoration box and completely transformed the room to a point where you wouldn't even have realised we got married in it hours earlier! Every detail went to plan, the food was amazing, photos and bridal suite perfect!From start to finish the Priest House offered an amazing service and made it so easy to plan the day.
